If you read my reviews you will know i try and give a balanced view of any review. Lets start with Korcula , the Island is heaven, unspoilt , gorgeous, pretty. The people are charming, friendly, keen to please. The hotel. Its a little dated , but i found this quaint. The first room we had was clean and functional... More

This is kind of a typical medium-size European hotel: not particularly spacious rooms or elegant decor, but the location is great. An easy, easy 5 min walk to the walled city. Might be wrong, but I don't believe the walled city has any hotels, so this is probably your closest option.

Lovely hotel, yes bedrooms arent very modern but having been to Croatia before we know not to expect the same sort of modern rooms that hotels in england have but they were clean and comfortable and it is only a 3 star hotel so what some of these people expect is beyond me! The lounge and bar/dining areas are really... More

In it's heyday this must have been a fabulous hotel BUT it is now very old, tired and in need of a complete refit. I would like to know where the rooms featured on the website are situated because we certainly did not get one! The location was fabulous and the terrace etc very pleasant. The man on the desk... This hotel is right on the pier. Couldn't be better location. The building is a wonderful old hotel. It has high ceilings, beautiful windows and a delightful and large patio out front. But, the rooms and bathrooms are really dated. Rooms very clean, but tired. The restaurant is sadly to be avoided. Breakfast was just ok, but dinner was truly... More

We read the reviews but still stayed here and so glad we did. Yes, it is dated but what does one expect from a grand old lady of 104 years. Our room was very clean and beds comfy, the staff (particularly Marco on the front desk) couldn't do enough for you. I truly believe that some peoples expectations are unreasonable,... More

The hotel is obviouslly old (Dating back to the 1800,s) and it has atmosphere, the reception staff are beyond compare, The room we stayed it was comfortable but nothing to write home about. But the breakfast was the same for a whole fortnight, and I could not eat the dinners as they made me sick, Fancy having meat trimmed with the... I just stayed at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, yes. The rooms are tired, as the other reviewers note, and it is very hot in the hotel, with no air conditioning and no air circulation either. The room seemed clean, but I awoke with many insect bites (despite there being no mosquitoes around), and noticed lines of... More

I read all of the reviews of this hotel, so I wasn't surprised to find that the rooms are just as tired as most reviewers had warned. However, I was willing to accept this due to the outstanding location. The hotel is situated on the waterfront within the old city, and my room had a little balcony that looked right... More

Staff very friendly & helpful! Hotel 3* and that is what you get, in form of rooms, dinner, breakfast. Avoid "Breakfast Coffee" (a substitute for sure). Happily many coffee bars around there that sell great coffee. View from 1st floor rooms super! Sunsets on terrasse very beautiful! Enjoyed watching boats/yatchs come & go from terrasse view point & room window!
