Great location, but the rooms (particularly the bathrooms) need an upgrade. There is no airconditioning, and the rooms get really warm. If temperature should pose a problem for you, you should not stay here. We stayed at a superior double rooms with a great view of the marina (beautiful sunset) and we had a small balcony. The staff were nice... More

Great location, great area to sit and watch the world go by. Not sure why so many people have gave this hotel a negative review? not sure what people expect? for the price I found it cheaper than a hostel!maybe I was lucky with room but I can't really say any bad points ..rooms were basic but very clean and... Ok - I read a few reviews before heading out to this hotel and after being there found them quite damming to be honest ! Not one to enjoy being in a busy hotel , saving sun loungers etc I went for something calm and aged . I chose this hotel for her age and location and nothing disappointed. Hotel... More

If you read my reviews you will know i try and give a balanced view of any review. Lets start with Korcula , the Island is heaven, unspoilt , gorgeous, pretty. The people are charming, friendly, keen to please. The hotel. Its a little dated , but i found this quaint. The first room we had was clean and functional... More

This is kind of a typical medium-size European hotel: not particularly spacious rooms or elegant decor, but the location is great. An easy, easy 5 min walk to the walled city. Might be wrong, but I don't believe the walled city has any hotels, so this is probably your closest option.

Lovely hotel, yes bedrooms arent very modern but having been to Croatia before we know not to expect the same sort of modern rooms that hotels in england have but they were clean and comfortable and it is only a 3 star hotel so what some of these people expect is beyond me! The lounge and bar/dining areas are really... More

In it's heyday this must have been a fabulous hotel BUT it is now very old, tired and in need of a complete refit. I would like to know where the rooms featured on the website are situated because we certainly did not get one! The location was fabulous and the terrace etc very pleasant. The man on the desk... This hotel is right on the pier. Couldn't be better location. The building is a wonderful old hotel. It has high ceilings, beautiful windows and a delightful and large patio out front. But, the rooms and bathrooms are really dated. Rooms very clean, but tired. The restaurant is sadly to be avoided. Breakfast was just ok, but dinner was truly... More

We read the reviews but still stayed here and so glad we did. Yes, it is dated but what does one expect from a grand old lady of 104 years. Our room was very clean and beds comfy, the staff (particularly Marco on the front desk) couldn't do enough for you. I truly believe that some peoples expectations are unreasonable,... More

The hotel is obviouslly old (Dating back to the 1800,s) and it has atmosphere, the reception staff are beyond compare, The room we stayed it was comfortable but nothing to write home about. But the breakfast was the same for a whole fortnight, and I could not eat the dinners as they made me sick, Fancy having meat trimmed with the...
