My wife and I have just spent a great week at the Marko Polo on a full board basis. The staff, the rooms, the bed, the view, the pool were all excellent. We can't find anything to criticise and we have done a lot of travelling. Thanks to all the staff.

We were in Hotel Marco Polo five times and we can tell that it is the best located hotel in our lovely Korčula. Rooms in the hotel are modern, very clean and very, very comfortable. Food choice for breakfast and dinner is also very good. Beach is in the nearness of the hotel but hotel has much better indoor and... More

I very much enjoyed my staying at the hotel - the staff was very kind and pleasing, you could always turn to them with any question, even to the manager itself, who was especialy kind and always smiling. I was also very pleased with the services offered, the cleanliness and accomodation.

Stayed for 3 days July 2014. Firstly, I cant believe the 5 star reviews of this property. That's what pushed me to write a review in the first place. Don't believe the suspicious "amazing" reviews. The good: Korcula town itself. Great restaurants and a beautiful town to stroll around. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre of... More

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend break in this lovely hotel on the Island of Korcula, one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic Sea. Marco Polo Hotel is located only a few steps from the beach and at a short walking distance from the picturesque old town of Korcula, one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean, which... We were staying at the Marko Polo Hotel for a 10-day dance conference held at the hotel in July 2014. Although we did not have the pleasure of an ocean-view room, we had a very spacious room. The mattress was really comfortable, one of the best I've experienced. In reading some of the critical comments in other reviews, I have... More

We have just returned from a 10 day visit to Korcula and to the Marko Polo Hotel. I guess it depends on perspective but we enjoyed arriving to the hotel jetty on the small boat from Orebic - it was all part of the adventure. The views to the island merely confirmed that we had made the correct choice of... More

We are currently staying at the Marco Polo hotel as part of our two weeks in Croatia. We began in Split at a wonderful 4 star hotel but what a drop in standard! The Marco Polo is definitely stuck in the 1970's! The beach is pretty non existent with the parasols a waste of time. There are some positives in... More

This hotel has a fabulous setting, with absolutely beautiful views from sea view rooms and the pool area. However, i cant give it 5 stars as there were little niggles that need putting right. To start with we arrived in a group of 6 people at the hotel jetty. A young man, trying his best, was waiting to take our... More

Stayed with family for 2 nights in what must have been the worst 2 rooms in the hotel. The view from the rooms were over a car park and into the wall of the adjacent property. The rooms were small with single beds pushed together to firm a double. The bathroom flooded at every use of shower due to poor... More
