Date of visit 26 June - 3 July 2009 Korcula has beautiful scenery and a nice town within 7 minute walk of the hotel. The town has many restaurants and bars, some providing live music. Did not notice any discos. Within 2 minutes walk of the hotel there is a small supermarket and a short distance further a number of... more

We would struggle to fault this hotel, but the couple that we found are below, and not too major. We had room 125 which has a fabulous seaview overlooking the old town and the mountains on the mainland opposite, but I suppose alot of the rooms are not so lucky, so that could be a fault. It really is worth... more

We arrived by boat after dark, so were unable to see what Korcula had to offer. We had a seaview room at the Marco Polo and when we awoke the next day and opened curtains the view out to sea was truely gorgeous. The hotel is lovely, modern and clean, our room was nicely finished and I would definitely say... more

Stayed for 2 nights with my partner and friends. I was expecting for a bit more luxurious hotel, so I was disappointed in the service. The reception lady was not friendly. Also rooms have no bath tab. more

Having booked this hotel earlier in the year we were a bit concerned by some of the earlier reviews. We nead not have worried, this hotel is is superb, but you get what you pay for. We had booked a room with sea view & balcony with double bed on a high level and that is what we got +.... more

My wife and I stayed here one night because of the ferry schedule between Dubrovnik and Hvar. Though I didn't originally plan to, I would strongly recommend staying in Korcula at least one night during a trip to Croatia. It is a neat little island with a very pleasant town. The hotel is located just outside of the main part... more

We have just returned from a week's stay at the Marko Polo. We were a little concerned at some of the recent reviews but can report that these were not borne out by our own experience. The hotel is well situated, just a short walk into Korcula Town. When returning to the hotel the last 100 metres is up quite... more

We stayed for a week in this hotel and I have to say did not find any of the problems other reviewers did. The room was a decent size with good working air conditioning. I was cleaned well every day and we had a nice view from the window. The staff at the check in desk were polite. They may... more

Our first view of the Marco Polo, sat high on a promontory overlooking the bay and Korcula old town, was as foot passengers on the car ferry from Drvenik. We hoped we would get our booked room with a sea view & we did! That glorious view over to the Old Town, the harbour and across the straits to Orebic,... more

I booked this hotel as we usually have good luck with recently renovated accomodation. This was the best part of the hotel. As with the other reviews, we were not put into the type of room that we paid for through Balkan Holidays We were suppose to have a camp bed. We didn't need it so we didn't make a... more
