We stayed here in July 2014, having booked this hotel as part of a 9-night package with Monarch holidays. We looked at the option to book everything independently but simply couldn't match the package price, let alone beat it. We prepaid for a transfer and pretty much got a 'private transfer' (6 of us on the way there, and 4... More

Stayed here in July Lovely hotel with so much potential!! Very 70s but clean and well looked after food was very good always plenty of choice. No internet although they do have wifi in the reception. Lots of outside space but no beach to speak of. Getting drinks was a bit hit and miss because the bar was never open... More

I think some of the reviews on this hotel are way too harsh!I stayed here and had no problems the staff were very friendly and helpful, yes there is no AC but I asked for a fan and got one by that night, Location was just off main area but that was fine by me as I had stunning views... More

I've travelled a fair amount and stayed in a lot of hotels around the world and this was by far the WORST! - we rocked up and we given a room with two single beds, when we asked to change rooms the guy on reception told us we'd booked a double room, which means double the amount of beds (???!!!)... I have stayed at many hotels throughout Europe and even some 2* but my wife and I have never been to a hotel this atrocious in our lives. First off it should be called a motel not hotel from what the rooms look like. They have not been upgraded or updated since this place was built. Not only does it... More

This hotel is a concrete relic of the 1960s communist era. I don't think a penny has been spent on it since. We stayed here as part of an Exodus trip and I have no idea why Exodus use it. The hotel is concrete throughout and most of the interior is original - and broken. There are broken beds, shutters,... More

Hotel Liburna is not perfect but it is ok. I have paid extra for the sea side room and it was a good choice, I could not be a week in a room with a view to a parking space. Rooms have not been renovated for a long time but are clean anc cosy. We had HB - another good... More

We are just back from a holiday in Hotel Liburna. Having read the reviews before travelling we knew that the hotel was dated but the view from the bedrooms makes up for the decor in the rooms. We had paid extra to have a room with a sea-view and when we arrived we were given a side view suite which... More

I stayed here as part of the Dubrovnik and Dalmatian Coast Exodus trip. On first impression this hotel looks amazing and has stunning views of the old town across the harbour. However on closer inspection it is just what one would expect of a three star hotel and it was very dated in decor and style. We were lucky to... More
