The Lesic Dimitri is a very unusual hotel. Five rooms or apartments, each quite different. We had the China apartment which could easily accommodate four or more persons. Each apartment is different, so examine carefully the description of each unit before selecting. I believe the China apartment has the best view--with a lovely terrace directly facing the Adriatic. It is... More

The islands of Croatia are an absolutely lovely place to visit, our stay at LD was memorable. The restaurant/cafe is a beautiful place to be and be seen but I'm sorry to say that the food quality, preparation and presentation let me down. I expected a lot better as I don't mind paying (which you will here) for a great... More

The positives: The hotel is in a lovely location from which to explore Korcula Town. A truly adorable and charming place, especially off season. Our room, the Arabian, was very clean and large. It is really a studio apartment with a full kitchen, unnecessary but fine. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was adequate and served in a lovely... More

We were so delighted upon arriving after biking from Vela Luka to be staying in the India Residence. The suite is very special, melding the old with new. Charming decor. Very comfortable bed and pillows Toni who checked us in was fantastic, a treat to meet him. We are eating at the restaurant tonight for dinner and looking forward to... More

I've been to many R&C hotels, and was not impressed here. The good news is that the hotel is in the middle of the old city, and is just steps from the pedestrian street that surrounds the town. The restaurant has tables on either side of the street, and the food is excellent. The food is R&C quality. But the... More

A revelation. Have now stayed twice here... never long enough. The loveliest staff, both front-of-house and in the restaurant, and perfect English spoken all round - and not a trace of resentment about speaking it (take note, France, generally). An amazing spa if that's what you want. Impossibly wonderful location, front and centre of surely the most beautiful mini-riviera boulevard... More

Preface this by saying we LOVE Relais & Chateau properties, but something was missing here. While unique, and well decorated....I think each room might be different and we didn’t realize this until after when we heard others sharing. Ground level room was not ideal for us. Room was dark, damp, low ceilings, and stone floors/walls/ceilings, so very musty smell to... More

Thank you for your comments. I am really sorry the India residence wasn't the right fit for you. All the residences are unique and everyone seems to have a different preference. Parts of the building, including much of India residence, dates back to the 14th century. The buildings in the medieval old town of Korcula were all built with heavy... More

The short walk up from the ferry dock just builds your sense of anticipation - just where would you fit a hotel in the alleys of Korcula's old town. When the porter said 'we're here' we were still not sure! However, after a short check in we were shown to our room, India, a few steps further up the narrow... More

Stayed 3 nights. Met by guy from hotel on edge of old town, who rooks us and bags to hotel door, giving us potted history of the Marco Polo connection on the way! Check in was quick, then onto the room, which was out of a film set. We had the room at the top of the house, windows to... More

I have stayed in a number of high quality hotels in my time both on business and for pleasure but in terms of uniqueness nothing compares to the Lesic Dimitri Palace. LD is set right in the heart of Korčula’s Old Town walls, split across a couple of narrow alleyways and just steps from Marco Polo's house and the old... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comments. Congratulations once again on your marriage and we hope you have wonderful memories of your honeymoon in Croatia! We're really glad you enjoyed your time with us in Korcula. Your comments are noted about the sound-proofing. These old buildings provide some challenges and the medieval cottage, Ceylon is... More
