We arrived an hour and half before checkin was suppose to be open but when we got there Sue at reception was very nice and allowed us to check in there and then. This hotel was centrally located in the centre of Hvar. They have a private parking area which was handy as you can't drive in the centre of the town, although we had to meet the receptionist beforehand so that she could show us where the car park was - it's a little field about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel.... more

Hotel Villa Nora is the best hotel to stay in on Hvar Island. It is tucked away on a quiet street but only steps from the main square and harbor. We stayed here for 5 nights and it was a disaster from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I think it must have come under new ownership since last year.
