We had initially booked the place for a few nights, but we quickly left after spending only one sleepless night hunting bed bugs in our room. A great value for the ritzy and expensive island of Hvar, the owner is nice (though slightly scatter-brained) and allowed us to store our bags there after checkout on the last day for several hours. We stayed in the annex building (not the main house), so appreciated a bit more privacy. The house-cleaning (not room-cleaning) is done daily, making shared... more

Here is the website address: http://www.house-zakaria.com/. Booked this based on other Trip Advisor reviews. Very nice couple and it is easy to get to from town. Really, it is a 5 min walk. The room was large with a small kitchenette. I will go back here on my next trip to Hvar. more
