The location was wonderful, nice and central and the scenery was second to none. Dubrovnik was a 45 minute ferry trip away and well worth a couple of trips. We were somewhat apprehensive about our booking at this hotel having read some of the comments above but we didn't need to be. All was fine. A good room with a seaview - worth paying extra - and a marvellous setting for a hotel. The evening buffet was varied and always enjoyable and the staff cheerful and helpful. Really good. more

Hotel Cavtat has a five star location but some of the rooms in my opinion struggle with its three star status. We had to move from a room as the bed and atmosphere were, in our opinion, very damp.
