After a long day travelling, it was great to pick up the hire car so swiftly (from local firm Best Buy Car rentals), and be at the hotel 5 minutes later. We have been to Hotel Major with 4 adults, and all 4 of us really enjoyed this hotel. Besides the nice big rooms (en-suite), we all enjoyed the really nice service we have received in this hotel. If you need a booking of a restaurant/taxi, rent-a-car, advise on trips, where to go, etc., the people in the hotel can arrange... more
On a recent visit to Cavtat we visited this wonderful restaurant. Just a couple of km's off the main Dubrovnik Airport road, close to the intersection for Cavtat this little gem is a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit! The location is fabulous, you just feel totally away from everything - the food is just wonderful... more
My husband and I stayed in the hotel Major for a week. It's a lovely small hotel, very comfortable, tidy and clean, with a great restaurant which offers something new. Everything was just perfect. The staff was great, they were really friendly and doing their best to make our vacation truly memorable one. There is also an outdoor swimming pool.... more
