I recently stayed at the Sunrise Apartments for a duration of 14 nights. Stanka Vidak, who ran the hotel, was a gem! She made myself and my husband feel completely at home. On arrival she gave us so much information on Cavtat and the surrounding areas. The apartments were spotless and had everything you could ever need. We were surprised by a gift of a bottle of wine when we returned to our room one day - such a lovely touch! Stanka also gave us a gift on leaving as well as transferring us to the airport free of charge.
The Sunrise is located up the hill from the main area of Cavtat but if you are able bodied it only takes 10 minutes to walk (or you can get the bus). Cavtat was a lovely resort, if a little quiet, however I cannot fault it. It had the added bonus of being very accessible to Dubrovnik and my husband and I spent many an evening in this wonderful city.
All in all, if you ever visit Cavtat I would highly recommend the Sunrise...
