We stayed 3 days in Marina on mainland Croatia and had an amazing time, before coming to Bol. Brac is a great island to visit, and we would certainly come back! I only wish I could have stayed a bit longer.. I tried to extend my stay with another week but unfortunately it was fully booked :-( Rooms are very comfy and the pool-area with a jacuzzi is simply fantastic... overviewing the Adriatic Sea. This just didn’t live up to what we booked and we were relocated within the hour. We booked a balcony with a sea view (could barely see it from the ground floor terrace we were given in error), the fridge was broken, there was water on the floor (narrowly causing a slip and fall) and the window shutters didn’t work.... We stayed at Villa Lara for four nights in August. The apartment was nice enough - nothing special but pleasant, big and comfortable. The best advice I found online was that Adria Apartments own Villa Lara and will be waiting at the ferry when you arrive. Get a lift with them! You do not want to carry suitcases up the... More
