This hotel is excellent. The best part of it is the great service from Nick. He treats you like a brother and he even drove be to the airport when a taxi was hard to find. Room was big and very stylishly designed. Location is excellent about 200 metres inside the old city - not far to walk but no... More

My first time to travel to China. Through recommendation, stayed at Sina Hotel. Very hospitable and warm reception. I am wheelchair bound and the hotel put me into a very convenient and nicely decorated room with large bathroom for easy access of wheelchair. I am gratified to the management for their kind consideration. Very impressed with the open garden and... More

very well appointed with excellent services, ancient city with ancient strures and complimented with well appointed room. Great for couples especially seeking a nice and serene ambience. Only shortfall is that the hotel does not have a restaurent withiprior arrangement n but breakfast could be serves unless prior arrangement are made.

I will try share our impression about Sina Hotel. It's an old house, typically in Lijiang style, more hotel than a inn, due to its big size. Location is good, close to taxi station and old town center. Rooms have good decoration but are not so clean or well maintained. Bedding is very comfortable so we slept very well even... More

Ideal location. On the edge of Old Town, away from the hustle and bustle yet within walking distance to everywhere. Small and cozy with nice grounds. A gazebo overlooking a river which runs along one side of the hotel is stocked with Chinese tea-making facilities for guests. We enjoyed having a cup of tea when we return from our day's... More

This hotel is absolutely adorable. Not only does it boast a brilliant location, its architecture is marvellous, the rooms (don't go for the cheapest ones but rather book the ones upstairs!) are beautifully furnished and very individual - a nice treat from all those standardized rooms you find all over now. The staff is very friendly and helpful, not everybody... More

Excellent, excellent hotel. The hotel is beautiful. Staff hospitality and security was excellent. The room was top notch. Feels like just at home. Stayed here for four nights and the experience was wonderful. The owner Nick was so helpful that he kindly brought me to buy winter clothes as the one brought was too thin. I have never experience such... More

The Sina Hotel is a great place to stay! We stayed for five days recently from 9/26 to 10/1 and everything is as good as we expected or better. Starting with pick up from airport which was done by the manager himself! The hotel staff is also very attentive and quick to explain necessary information on how to get around... More

The Sina Hotel was a great place to stay for a single traveler. The staff picked me up where the taxi left me off so I wasn't wandering around the alleys trying to find the hotel. The hotel was nice and clean with a peaceful outside area to sit in. It is a bit of a walk to the main... More

We just came back from a 4-night stay at Sina Hotel in late June. Here are pros and cons: Pros: 1. Great location just at the border of old town. We are not in the busy old town and away from loud speakers and yet you can simply walk across hotel back door across the stream and you are there!... More
