We stayed 4 nights here while we hiked to Leaping Tiger Gorge. Love this place, we got a upstairs deluxe suite with private bath/shower, over looking the court yard. We had fresh tiger lily every day in our room, from the deco to location or the service, we cannot ask for a better place to stay. But overall, wonderful place... More

This is a very nice hotel in the old suburb/count of Shuhe. The hotel is a classic Chinese house, with several courtyards and nice rooms. The beds are (for westerners) maybe a bit on the hard side, but we slept very well. The room also had a nice classic Chinese couch and the bathroom was good. Don't set your hopes... More

We stayed two nights at the Huifeng Inn in Shuhe old town. Loved it! Great attention to detail in the rooms (real boutique hotel feel) great pool for the kids to swim in and the best roof top terrace on which to enjoy a drink before going out into Shuhe for dinner. It was a great base from which to... More

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Hui Feng Inn. It is a traditional old style Chinese hotel and I loved our room and the wooden interior. The room was very spacious and had a little balcony off to the courtyard which were both wonderful places to relax, only minutes away from busy Schuhe Old Town. There was music... More

We stayed 5 nights in Huifeng Inn in Shuhe Old Town. Initial impressions were good as check in easy and English speaking Jet provided great service during our stay. Our upstairs room was very large with a huge wooden bath plus ensuite shower and toilet, air conditioner and balcony where you could sit looking down on a courtyard. We were... More

We stayed 2 nights in Huifeng Inn which is situated in Shuhe Old Town. Lots of construction going on, so entry is down dusty streets and through an alley. Our luggage was collected at the car park and we followed it to our hotel. An attractive artistic hotel with a crystal clear pool in the first courtyard and another big... More

This hotel is located in the middle of the pedestrian area of Shuhe Old Town, North of Lijiang. It is a little bit difficult to find (like all other hotels in Shuhe), but this place is a real gem. The owner speaks good English and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The hotel itself is small, but the rooms... More

We stayed in this hotel only one night, however we were amazed by the service provided by the front desk boy - Lio. We had only one afternoon to arrange the transport to Tiger Leaping Gorge for next morning, do laundry, food shopping and see at least a little bit of the old town. Everything was possible thanks to Lio... More

We (family of 4) stayed here for one night before our departure to Kunming. The first mistake was to stay in Shuhe. This a very commercialised town stripped of its natural character (it was like going to Benidorm in China). With hindsight, we should have stayed in Lijiang old town as this was full of character. The Inn itself was... More

Choose this place because of such a high rating on Tripadvisor. Firstly, I would certainly rate Shuhe lower then Lijiang as a place to stay. It's certainly smaller, but very commercialized and very noisy. So is Lijiang, but since it's much bigger, It's easier to find quite corner there. Huifeng Inn is in the middle of very dusty construction zone... More
