As mentioned before you're staying outside Lijiang and it's a 10 minute walk to the old town of Shuhe which can be rather dark at night. Bruce and his team are very very friendly and helpful, rooms are comfy and clean so if you don't mind being somewhat removed from the action this place offers excellent value for money. More
