Holiday Inn is a great place to stay in JZG. Its 1.5 hrs from the airport and 0.5hrs from JZG town on the same route. The Hotel itself has been rebovated from the old JZG paradise resort with old world granite rock work and tibetan ethnic interiors. Rooms are quiet comfortable complemented with a welcome tray of fruits to relax you. Room service is good, caveat being that not many speak english so one has to make do with whatever mandarin one knows. Tip : If you can get hold of this guy called James he will be a great resource.he knows english and he certainly does know the area around.
Although Holiday Inn seems like the perfect stay but I would still suggest try and spend another $10 per night and stay at the intercontinental whch is 4 kms fro holiday Inn. This hotel is just brilliant with a choice of watering holes and restaurant and a fabulour spa with glass ceiling and the works.
