We were travelling home from Fl and stopped here to stay overnight. From the outside, it looks nice. The price was cheap--should have been a clue. I booked this reservation from a yellow pages ad. It looks very elegant and pretty from the outside, but once inside the old, smoke-in-the-carpet odor is very apparent. Simply, just stay away. Motel looks inviting from a distance. When you get up close, your opinion changes quickly. Outside is dirty. Garbage cans overflowing with garbage. Room had somewhat new carpet and someone had tried to paint. When we got there, there were no curtains on the windows. Bathroom hasn't been updated since the motel opened 40 yrs ago.... more
