Oh wow, I am so shocked by the number of bad reviews. My fiance and I stayed here August 2010 and our stay was a very nice one. The room was clean and spacious. The mini fridge was clean. No weird smells. Everything was fine. The front desk clerk was nice. I have no complaints. This was my first econo... More

This hotel was dirty, smelly, and very hot/humid in the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. I am not picky but want the hotel I stay in to be clean and safe.....this did not fit either of those requirements! The pool was closed and appeared to have a layer of green scum on top. My credit card was charged twice... More

I could not beleive the level of uncleanliness in this room. The air did not work, my guest and I had to sleep on top of the bed covers because of the body hair found in the beds, there was blood on the lamp shade and ciggarette butts in the room. The amount of mold found around the shower head... More

These people couldn't have been more rude. The hotel was by no means a nice hotel, the staff was terrible, accomodations were terrible, Nothing good to say about this hotel at all. More

stayed here while I had a family member at UAB for brain surgery. Tub would not drain, had to stand in ankle deep shower water the entire time. Coffee pot in room did not work and I left them a note, and the note was still there the next day. This morning I was looking for my straightener, and it... More

Horrible Hotal. If you have money to pay for this hotal please go down the street. They are much cheaper and much nicer. We Came here for a vacation because my mother suffers from stress. We ended up with more stress than anything. Room was ok at first but one day we walked out to go eat and came back.... More

After I gave such a good review of this place, I booked a night there last night. The first room she gave me had bugs crawling in it, and furniture ON THE BED, and I was just too tired and sleepy to move it. So the night clerk gave me another room. It SEEMED to be better. The tub was... More

I've stayed at this location several times before, but this was the last time. I stayed two nights, one on each end of a vacation. The first night was OK, but the last wasn't. This has recently been downgraded to an Econo-Lodge and when you see it, you'll understand why. It has outdoor corridors. OK, I can deal with that,... More

I spent a few days here because of nearby business; it was horrible. Mold in the carpet from a leaking air conditioner; complaints regarding it went unheard. Poor maid service; sometimes they changed the towels and added shampoo; sometimes not. Overnight packages that arrived simply languished at the desk; they did not have sense enough to notify the guest. A... More

Oxmoor Rd is not a great exit to stay in Bham. This exit is dead with nothing but a gas station open close to the hotel. I would suggest Lakeshore Pkwy one or two exits up. This hotel is convenient to the interstate and close to the UAB exit and that's why we stayed here. My son was having surgery... More
