This hotel is close to the interstate and that's about all that was good about it. We have allergies and if a hotel is willing to allow dogs and cats, then the hotel should have the courtesy of making the rooms and hallways free of pet dander and other allergens that gets into the carpets, sofas, and beds. The wifi... More

This is a high rise with elevator. Quite a large property. Room was clean, clerk was nice and accommodating. Bed was quite good though a queen. There were a lot of very noisy children here when I checked in and sadly since I was next to the b'ball court, I could hear them. They seemed to just be turned loose.... More

Rooms were OK. The problem I experienced which makes me not ever want to stay at hotel again is the noise and disturbances. On business trip your room is there for you to rest and recharge. Second night there was disturbed by housekeeping. Should not be disturbed after check in time! Why are they cleaning rooms after 4pm when check... More

Nice efficiency rooms; was nice to stay in the 1-bedroom and be 'another room/door' removed from the hallway (where I had some noisy neighbors). Didn't like the fact that you had to go outside to get to the main building for breakfast - especially in the Thunderstorm, but the kids enjoyed the bball court and the courtyard was nice

Stayed in same room as last time. Still black mold on shower curtain as before. Had to ask 3 times for floor to be vacuumed. What is with the crazy amount of air fresher used at this hotel? I have to hold my breath when walking into the lobby. What happened to the lounge chairs by the pool? The chairs... More

We had a very nice studio room which gave us room to spread out and just take it easy. Seating was a couch, a desk chair, and two dinette chairs. Several things which didn't disturb our stay do need mentioning, though. The fan on the a/c was exceptionally strong and loud (perhaps to be sure the entire suite was cooled?),... More

Upon arrival the young man at the front desk all he did to help me but management would not accommodate the issue. My company card was rejected as it on a foreign bank I could not call and get it resolved until the following day. As a Platinum member I have had this issue before and the property just waited... We attended orientation on our way home from family vacation and I knew we would need a refrigerator and room to spread out. Our son stayed with us, the 1st night, on the pull out couch. He said it was comfortable but he froze due to being right under one of the vents. The main bed was comfy and we... More

I spent 5 nights at Residence Inn Homewood for a conference at Samford University. My experience was totally positive. The room was clean and well maintained during my entire stay. The furnishings were all in good shape. Having a kitchen to prepare some meals was great. Every staff person I interacted with, even those I just passed in the hall,... More

We especially liked having a bedroom and living room area while travelling from out of state for a wedding. Although there was only two of us we found it relaxing. The hotel was in a convenient part of town. Our room was very clean. Not too far from nice shopping mall and quaint area of Mountain Brook, where we enjoyed... More
