My room was newly renovated and very clean. The hotel is very old and the outside probably need renovating. The outside doors were all propped open late at night. I would recommend this hotel to others.

My family and I stayed here July 11-12, 2014 and were very unpleased. The entire first floor looked creepy and smelled of cigarettes. My daughter has allergies and I had requested a non-smoking floor and room. The room was decent but the kitchen was nasty. We saw a dead roach and killed one as well. The towels in the bathroom... A little bit pricey for the actual quality of the room. Also a very big miscommunication, nothing was said that they don't have 24 hour service so we arrived at 11:15 to find we couldn't get our room bc office staff was gone, we slept in the car after a 6 hour trip bc all other hotels were booked! Then... More

I would not recommend this hotel for anyone to stay in, even if it was free. The condition of the rooms were terrible, the other attending guess were not pleasant. The was not there as the outside doors were all propped open late at night but locked during the day.

Do disreguard all the recent negative reviews on this property. Their over exaggerated. Clearly the last two reviewers of this property had a serious personal problem, because besides the halls which are always clean and clear, the suites are a home away from home. Very comfortable and welcoming. Upgraded to the max top to bottom. For the rate the studio... More

This hotel was absolutely horrible. Even going into it know that it would be a $70 per night cheap place, it was horrible. First, the front desk attendant had very little idea how to use the computer and the check-in process took forever, and I still had to come back later to finish. Then, though we had reserved and in... More

I stayed on the 1st floor so I can't speak to the quality of the 2nd and 3rd floors but the ventalation is terrible and because of the kitchenettes in every room, it stinks like old, nasty, greasy, spicy food in the hall and in the room. I would describe the smell as a combination of deep fried cigarettes with... More

Extended Stay America-Birmingham-Wildwood is a great place to stay at a resonable price. Staff is very friendly and the beds are sooooo comfortable. By having a kitchen area makes you feel right at home. I would stay again! Lots of eating places around the hotel as well as a Walmart. It was only ten minutes from where the event was that... More

ESA Wildwood is surrounded by nicer (and more expensive) properties. The motel staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room met all my basic needs and a little more. I would stay here again if I were back in Birmingham.
