I've stayed here several times in the past 3 years, and a couple of times in the past 2 months. It's close to where I contract and the price is better than the nearby Hampton Inn or HI Express (besides being so close to where I contract the location isn't so great for an ordinary traveller though, well off the... The hotel was adequate. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable I did not like the pillows they where smaller then a posted stamp. The only problum was the bath room all the paint was peeling of the ceiling the tub was dirty it looked like it had never seen a bottle of blech. Other then tose to... More

Let me start by saying for the price the hotel was clean and adequate but not as nice a some quality inns I've stayed in for the same price. My dad wants to buy the same bed for his house he liked it so much. Breakfast was good and hot and the location was safe. Staff was friendly, however, the... More

This was my second visit to Irondale and second time staying here at the Quality Inn. During my latest visit the main lobby is undergoing renovation (I think). Looks like major work going on, but the two days I was there I didn’t see a soul working which made me wonder how long has this project been going on. The... More

We stayed here three times while visiting EWTN and their morning Mass. Each time, the room was clean, and the breakfast was the best! The staff members were awesome, and a couple of them actually remembered us! How nice. :) Perfect when going to EWTN....it's literally two minutes away. Nice view, too, but I always make sure my car is... More

Spent one night here while traveling with friends. Check in took a bit longer than normal. Received room 256, two doubles, non-smoking. Room was fresh. Fridge and microwave. Hair dryer. 4-cup coffee maker. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Adequate towels (clean but not the softest). Only the desk chair to sit on. Clean bathroom. Clock radio was malfunctioning. It was on and... More

Hotel lobby was under complete renovation during my stay. Had to wait for front desk help and registration. Breakfast was decent but took a long time to restock. Average but clean rooms. Decent hotel for overnight stay.

Family took sick at UAB. So lucky we happened upon this hotel. You would expect a place of this caliber to be much more money. For $80 a night, for a king-size bed on top of a hill overlooking Birmingham, you would expect a place like this to go for much more. We personally found the grounds to be very... More

Arriving late at night, the receptionist was cordial, we booked 3 rooms but were all located in different parts of the hotel. The room was nice and small, but looking around, this hotel is old and needs an upgrade. The aircon was noisy and took a while to cool the room, and the bathroom needed a makeover. Breakfast was fine,... More

We have stayed at several Quality Inns and this one was not up to the rest. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staffer named Marilyn. She was most cordial, however it went downhill from there. Room was not up to oar, bathroom was not as clean as expected. Breakfast was not worth eating. Won't stay here... More
