Stayed here for one night while travelling from FL to IL. Room was cheap (<$60), and clean. We had attempted to stay a few blocks away at another hotel that was absolutely disgusting. ...and I travel a lot. The only reason I chose this hotel was because it was the only one near my route that accepted pets. The room was filthy, the bedspread had cigarette holes burned into it, some of the TV stations had picture but no sound, and the breakfast was a joke. The coffee maker was leaking all over... more

Management could not get my room unlocked. Gave my family a room to sleep in, but all of our belongings were in the locked room. Went and bought inexpensive tshirts and underware for the family to sleep in. The next morning, they did get right into my room as promised, but told me that my expense for clothing to sleep... more

Unfriendly staff, unkept grounds including a pool that looked like it had a month's worth of leaves at the bottom! My room wasn't cleaned once and my calls to the desk were ignored! Beer bottles lying all over the grounds and my room reeked of dog! It's a DUMP! more

These were the unfriendliest people ever, we got there a bit early and they told us we couldn't check in till 4:00, even though my reservation confirmation said 1:00,so we left and came back at 4 and they said our room still wasn't ready, and they weren't friendly about it. My family and I just returned from Birmingham AL. We enjoyed our stay at the Baymont Inn very much. The staff was very helpful and polite. We recived maps and directions to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was plentiful and great! My children loved the homemade waffles. We will go back. more

There was dust on furniture....seemed not to be dusted in weeks. On top of the armoire there was a bunch of coins that I dared not touch (dust covered). Sink and bathroom were clean but shower was very very cramped. Room was cramped with furniture. While searching for an outlet I found that behind the furniture it looked like nothing... more

Clean, comfortable & quiet. Breakfast was what you would expect from Hampton Inn. Service was prompt and polite. The room was a little narrow and getting to the bathroom was tricky in the middle of the night. The location was good - on a major throughfare and adjacent to an interstate. more
