My company has used this hotel several times for meetings and arranged with them to provide food, breakfast lunch and supper, buffet style. The food was great and there was plenty of it. The staff was very nice. The people at the main desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to find and is in a reasonably... more

Upon entering the entrance I immediately noticed how fresh the hotel smelled and how clean everything was. The rooms are average size. However, the bedding is excellent to sleep on for a good night's sleep. The LG LCD flat screen was also very nice. I wouldn't say that the rooms are luxurious but very nicely decorated. The room service we... more

Stayed for two nights while my husband was working in AL. Older hotel, the room could have used an update and the bathroom was subpar. The concierge lounge was closed, suppposedly b/c of the evacuees from the hurricane. That was disappointing. The customer service was not very friendly or accommodating. Gym is small and pool is covered. more

Very good business hotel in very nice suburb of Birmingham. Rooms could use a little freshening, but always kept clean. For the chains, it's the nicest full service hotel in the area. Workout room needs to be expanded and equipment replaced, but it's useable. Good location for closeby Summit Mall and 15 minute drive to 5 points. more

I was very pleased with the Marriot. The area where the hotel was located was beautiful. It was located across the street from a beautiful pond with artificial waterfall. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby area was relaxing. The exercise room was well-equipped. My room was very clean, with no problems. I enjoyed having the large,... more

I stayed at the Birmingham Marriott for one night for business, and was totally satisfied. In many ways it is a typical Marriott, but with a few nice touches here and there that bump it up a bit. My room was nice and large, with a large king bed, a large desk and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom was just... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel June 15-17th to visit family in Birmingham. Great easy location to get to shopping and restaurants. Hotel staff was excellent and helped us with anything we needed. The rooms were very clean as well as the public areas and lounge. When going back to B'ham I would stay here again. more

The room was a decent size and the bed was definitely comfortable! Very nice comforter and comfy pillows. I particularly liked the Bath and Bodyworks toiletries which was a nice touch. The wireless connection was pretty good as I was there for work although I didn't like that you had to pay for it as this is standard in other... more

Thought it was ok. It was clean, well maintained but just mediocre stay. However, it is from my understanding the nicest hotel in Birmingham. Nothing special, but clean and friendly folks. more

I usually stay in Marriott hotels on business trips and was quite disappointed with this hotel. While the staff made every effort to be attentive, their constant questions became instrusive, especially during meals. How many times does someone have to ask me if everything is all right, and do they have to ask right after I've taken a bite of... more
