We booked thru Hotwire, spent $100 for one night-which is a great price IMO. Gorgeous lobby, great media area in the lobby to use computers or watch TV by the bar. Room (2 beds) was small and cramped. One beds duvet was slightly stained when you pulled the sheet back, which is why I rated it a 3. Bathroom is... More

I stayed here for 1 night for a corporate event hosted by Audi. The hotel was beautiful, the room was very nice and clean with a complimentary mini bar included on the stay. The bathroom was very tidy and fresh, my stay here was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day. Highly recommended

made reservation online for five days ask for mico/frig(for medical reason) was told ok. upon arrival no mico/frig in rm. ask front desk , for one put on a waiting list, never did receive one or the other, sloppy front desk work, and people working, make them put everything in writing when you call in. but look out for nothing.

I opted to not have my room serviced and to receive a $5.00 credit per day that could be used in any of the hotel's facilities. On my last day I used two cards for a meal in the only open food service area - the bar. As I was in a hurry and the server did not initially provide... More

My hotel room was on the club floor, so I got to enjoy the amenities of the club lounge. There is a young lady working there named Mary, who provided exceptional service above and beyond the call of duty. She made us feel welcome and gave us everything we needed.

Our room was very nice -- overlooked the big atrium/lobby area. Comfy beds. Nice amenities. Very convenient to the convention center across the street. -- The downsides? Parking wasn't cheap. Very little food in the immediate area. And no free wi-fi in the room! (Hello, Sheraton? Even Motel 6 gives you free wi-fi, people.)

In town for a wedding and though having visited Birmingham many times, we ALWAYS stayed away from the scary downtown. Well, like lots of cities, they are changing that! It is looking good down there so far; I was impressed. The Sheraton as comfortable, quiet, and almost all the staff bent over backwards to be nice, polite, and helpful. One... More

First, as we were greeted at the entrance, we were immediately told we could not park there to unload as we had a larger vehicle than normal. We would have to park on the street to unload and they would come there to help us unload. This is not my idea of the best first impression for any hotel. Their... More

Sheraton gloats on being the largest hotel in the state of Alabama--- and they may be! It's a huge hotel, but here's the downfalls in a nutshell. 1.) no in room microwaves or refrigerators 2.) they have the dart (trolley) that swings by, and that's good because nothing affordable is close. Uptown is a block away, but $$ meals and... More
