Rate just over $100 inc all taxes, clean, comfortable beds good air, good front desk, 2 complimentary bar drinks, efficient early wake-up call. Hotel is 1 mile from airport on the road to the airport - you cannot get much better than that. Gas station across the street from entrance for those with rental cars. No negatives more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights on a conference trip. Check-in went without a hitch by polite staff who were very busy. The room was of a good size with a bathroom with shower and bath. Only thing missing from the room were biscuits to go with the supplied coffee. We used the restaurant and were surprised to... more

Stayed one night at this Holiday Inn. We were pleasantly surprised. I booked this on Hotwire and I wasn't sure what I was going to get. I am more of a Hampton Inn/Embassy Suites person. Again, let me say...pleasantly surprised. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. When we checked-in, our room smelled of smoke (non... more

Check in was fast and easy, staff polite. Room seemed to have been recently remodeled. Pool area nice, pool could use cleaning above the water line, however...tiles were mucky. One think I disliked was that the dinner prices in the restaurant were outrageous....I wonder is this because of the poor location of the hotel, no other restaurants close by except... more

I was in Birmingham recently on a business trip and took a chance on the Holiday Inn by the Birmingham airport due to its close proximity to the airport. The rooms appeared to be newly renovated and were very clean. I always thoroughly inspect hotel rooms I stay in and this one certainly met my standards. The staff was very... more

First room they gave me, after waiting for and hour to get it ready, was already occupied when I went through the door, nice surprise. They done the same thing to another guy while I was in the lobby waiting. Second room had a broken air conditioner. By this time I was getting pretty uneasy about the place. The third... more

I do a tremendous amount of traveling and I think that I am a hotel expert. Well my expertise was taken to the next level once I stayed at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport. Most of the time airport hotels are the worst properties that a person can stay in, that is next to the roadside-truckstop motels. I was pleasant... more

The reviews below cannot be about the same hotel that I stayed in. The staff was beyond helpful and pleasant, answering all of my questions without hesitation. I didn't have a car during my stay and the front desk organized a convinient Birhmingham tour possible to accomplish via taxi service. My 3-day stay was comfortable, fun, and convenient. The rooms... more

Hotel is located in the ghetto. They do not have 24 hour security. My car, along with 6 others was broken into in the parking lot, that by the way does not have security cameras. The police officer did not want to file a report and said it was a bad area for crime and prostitution. The hotel staff and... more

any positive impression i had when i walked in to their updated and remodeled lobby was taken away during my two-night night stay when i accidentally left my wedding ring on the desk in my room and returned that night to find it missing. stolen, actually. the night security officer took a report and i've been told that i would... more
