The 1st room I was assigned on the third floor had signs of repair from some type of water or smoke damage. The sprinklers had smoke/flash stains around them on the ceiling. Stayed at this hotel while traveling to and from FL for Christmas. It's a smaller hotel, which was nice, off the main road a bit but within walking distance to restaurants. Very nice hotel. Seems fairly new. Staff was great at check-in. Knew the area fairly well when we requested a specific restaurant to eat. Room was very clean. Bedding was good. This hotel was fine for a business trip. They have a good continental breakfast and provide wireless internet service. The room was good but the bathroom has some age to it. more

I was in Birmingham AL last week and stayed at the Fairfield Inn. Everyone was very plesant and our room was great. Not lots of extras but everything we needed.... They pool came in very handy and it is a shame it is not used more. I highly recomend this hotel for travelers in the Birmingham area....... more
