Please do not stay here. Worst place EVER! Live Roaches seen too late to leave since husband is handicapped. Did not sleep wondering what was crawling on me. Called for wake up call for Dr appt. No wake up call received nor did the alarm clock work. The bedspread/cover looked like it hadn't been washed in ???. I'm not one... more

By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We were with a group otherwise we would have stayed eleswhere. The property has different zones of stench. The lobby smells musty. The elevator smells of old socks, of which there was one for the duration of our stay. Our room smelled like what I think a meth lab would smell... more

This motel was terrible. The rooms smelled. The stairwell smelled of urine. There were people banging on doors in the middle of the night. There was a drunken party outside my room one night (2 am) and the next night there was a very loud, scary, domestic dispute (4 am). The staff was incompetent (they had my reservation wrong when... more

What was once a great place is now a true nightmare. The hotel is filthy and run down. We had reservations for a king, but were given a room with two double beds. We were told a reservation only meant you had a "room". After a long trip back down to the office, we were then escorted by Security to... more

This isn't a hotel for those who want up-to-date meeting facilities or fancy rooms. But it is a good deal for the price. I have used this hotel numerous times as an (older) doctoral student at UAB and each time my room has been adequate and I have felt safe. It is very convenient to walk to anyplace on the... more

We stayed here and the statements about the grease on the sidewalks and almost everywhere else is correct. The Waffle House next door is the worst I have been in for sure. We thought the rooms were clean, on second look though: The mini fridge was stagnant and we had to clean it ourselves, very stinky, and when we went... more

This wasnt a bad place at all. The only thing I would change would be the Waffle House that is attached. It isnt the cleanest place on earth. The motel itself was clean, and quiet. its a good place to stay if you have someone in the hospital here it is a short walk or drive to childrens which is... more

We took a group of high school students to Birmingham, and we end up in the medical center inn much to our dismay. This place was filthy, and unsafe. So many things went wrong during our stay I could write you a book. I get a shiver just thinking about having to stay at this hotel. The rooms are dirty,... more

Room was clean. Staff answered questions without being friendly. Maids were very helpful. Outside walkways appeared to have grease on them from the attached waffle house. Old grease worned into the sidewalks. The waffle house is filthy to include the plates. I showed a waitress food stuck on a plate and she wiped it off and used it anyway. would... more
