Good location for travelers off of the interstate. Hotel staff was accommodating and the room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was great although the breakfast service was a little sparse without much interaction.

We were rather late in checking in, but the lady behind the desk was great about it. She even said the kids could use the (indoor) pool for a little bit before she closed it for the night. Everything was fairly clean, spacious, and renovated. Breakfast is not free here, but is a great deal with the the kids. Will... More

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and several of our amenities! The pool is on the first floor, not next to any sleeping rooms so I'm glad we were able to be flexible to let the kids burn off some energy. We also plan to add some additional breakfast options as well so we hope to have you... More

OK, so I like this chain ... but this location is one of the nicest I have been to. Away from the hustle and bustle, and the noise. Perched on the top of a hill, this hotel is ideal if you want a quiet place to stay. The room was very clean and looked new. The staff were friendly. We... More

Thank you for the compliments on our hotel and area. We do love the quiet, wooded location even when you're just a mile from the interstate. Our rooms and lobby are all newly renovated. We rarely get road noise complaints, but I would agree that any light sleeper may want to ask for the front facing rooms, just to be... More

This HGI is located in an interesting area on the east side of Birmingham, in Liberty Park. In fact, there is a large replica of the Statue of Liberty to greet you to the area. We stayed here because of its close proximity to the Barber Motorsports Park. It seems like Hilton put their eggs in the HGI basket several... More

Thank you for the compliments on the Liberty Park area. We are very proud of our Statue of Liberty replica (with real gas-burning torch!) and the beautiful Barber Motorsports Park and Museum. I'd like to assure you that Hilton is very involved in continually updating the HGI brand to meet the needs of the guests and we just underwent an... More

We had a very enjoyable stay. We were allowed to check in early, as we had arrived early after a very early flight and were very tired. While we waited for our room, we used the business center to find some needed information. We liked using the Keurig in the rooms. The room seemed clean and fresh overall.

So glad that we were able to accommodate an early check-in for you. That's not always the case but the hotel staff does their best to meet each request. We appreciate your compliments on our cleanliness as that is of course, one of the top priorities. We hope to have you back again soon. Thanks, Lindsey More

Stayed for a weekend getaway for my wife and I. Overall it was a nice stay. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The location is somewhat away from the exit off of I-459 so you have to look for it a little. The road to the property gives little indication that a hotel is out there. Check in was... More

Glad you were able to find us since our location is a little tucked away and hard to see with the wooded area that surrounds us. We do have a directional sign right off of the interstate but we are not able to put an additional sign at the second turn due to restrictions of the upscale area where we're... More

The rooms were as expected with this chain. Fairly spacious, nice and clean. 3 towels only for a room that sleeps 4?? Why? We didn't realize this until 6 a.m. and had to call for more towels. I expressed I'd like 2 more. She asked how many people were in the room, I said 4.They brought it right up, but... More

My husband and I love this hotel and return almost every month for work. We always feel at home with Chef James and Andrea at breakfast. The special Hawaiian omelette that he made for us was delicious.

So glad that you enjoy your stays with us and keep returning! It is wonderful to hear that our staff makes you feel at home. That is certainly what we strive for! Chef James loves to spoil his guests with special breakfast treats. I haven't had his Hawaiian omelet, so I'll have to make a special request and try that... More

We have stayed here many times as it is a convenient location for our travels and always enjoy it. The property is tucked away in a peaceful setting about 1 mile off of I-459 and about 5 minutes to the Summit and Hwy 280 which makes it convenient to all things Birmingham. It's also the closest hotel to Church of... More
