I loved our night at this cute b&b. I loved the antiques and decor and felt it was like a little dolls house! Our room was very warm and cosy and pretty. The bathroom was opposite which was fine but I would have liked a lock on the door come morning time! Breakfast was family style around a big table... More

We stayed at Cobb Lane over the weekend. The bed and breakfast is truly lovely. However, due to a serious family emergency, we had to cut our trip short. Although we left before check-out, we were still charged for the next day's stay. This was a bit much, when services were not rendered for the second day, and also compounded... More

I stayed at Hassinger Daniels Mansion (camelot Room) over the weekend and was absolutely bowled over! The renovation of the old mansion was truly amazing, and to say it is beautiful in an understatement. The mansion provides everything a traveler needs (comfortable beds, flat screen TV, blow dryer, iron & ironing board, etc.) but is so much more than a... More

This large and fully restored 1898 mansion is the second B & B operated by the artist couple Ira and Sheila Chaffin. Cobb Lane was the first, and is a few blocks away from thhe mansion, and described by the owners as an upper middle class Victorian. Cobb Lane's website currently covers both properties, hence the review here. The location... More

We reserved a room at the Cobb B&B but Shelia, the owner, offered us an upgrade at her other B&B, the Hassinger Daniels Mansion. This place is really neat, built in 1898 and is loaded with wonderful period artifacts. Reading about the history of the place was fun too. Shelia, a delightful host, was a pleasure to talk with and... More

This is a mixed review, although I am tilting toward a poor review. Maybe I would have been happier if I hadn't stayed in the Rose Room. The bad: Do not select the Rose Room. You cannot tell from the photos on the web that the Rose Room has a very large, very cumbersome pocket door. I am a strong... More

The owners offer 2 upscale B&B's, Cobb Lane and The Hassinger Daniels Mansion. We chose the later for our anniversary. It was a perfect choice. The inn is finely done in victorian splendor. The innkeeper, Shiela Chaffin, was a wonderful hostess and very sharing of her time and knowledge of the mansion's history. The morning breakfast was tasty and served... More

My wife and I, 6yo, and 3yo stayed at the Hassinger Daniels mansion earlier this week. The Hassinger was opened as a B and B about 6mo ago per the owner. It is super conveniently located downtown, easy walk to several restaurants. Ample parking and access to the interstate. The house has been beautifully restored with some truly amazing furniture,... Great historical facility and such a delight to visit! My room was well decorated (Peacock Room) and exceptionally clean. The owners were most gracious and the food was perfect! Loved the wonderful conversation with the other guests as we set together for our breakfast meal in the beautifully appointed formal dining room. The wonderful pastries in the main hall and... More
