We visited with our son and daughter in law who had spent their honeymoon there almost five years ago. Rooms were lovely, views over the grounds which were beautiful. Dinner was really good, as was breakfast next day. Will recommend it to our UK friends. Has a gym and pool, neither of which we used, but looked good.

Here are my notes from my stay @ Renaissance Ross Bridge: Poolside is more expensive and more noisy. A large, drunk crowd congregated outside my patio door, loud, there was a DJ, and the smell of cheap cigars nearby. So, I switched rooms to front side. Restaurants on-site were overrated. Cell phone service is terrible here, like being in the... More

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our third anniversary, and overall really enjoyed our time. The grounds/facilities are really the best parts of the resort. The resort itself looks like a castle, the indoors is beautifully decorated, and the outdoor amenities are great. Although it was too cool to swim when we were there, the... More

Stayed here for a week while attending a conference on site. The room was clean and comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. RB is a resort within 10 miles from Birmingham which makes it convenient to big city offerings. Truthfully, if staying during the summer, you do not need to leave the resort. It has a great pool area, first... More

Forty of our families members gathered at Ross Bridge for our family reunion. The hotel was awesome from the welcome by the bellman, the quick check-in and beautiful rooms. Our kids were thrilled to hear the bagpiper who plays an hour before sunset. Breakfast in Brock's and lunch in the Clubhouse restaurant provided delicious food and a wonderful opportunity to... First of all, this is an outstanding facility. Given the season, there were sufficient TV's scattered about to keep up with the bowls and NFL. Rooms are well appointed and the bed very comfortable. For the young ones there was a ginger bread house building station well equipped just off the lobby..Evenings brought movies and smores on the terrace overlooking... More

I recently spent a couple of nights at this hotel during the end of December. My husband and I attended a wedding in Birmingham. The hotel was located pretty far from downtown, and there was little to do in the immediate area unless you played golf. The outside of the hotel is very impressive in appearance, but trying to locate... More

This is a great hotel you wouldn't expect to find in Birmingham. It feels like you are at s far away resort destination. The food is excellent and the pool area is great for families or relaxing. We are not golfers but that is one of the top offerings at this spot. We live in Atlanta and enjoy coming here... More

Highly recommend this hotel, stayed here multiple times and never disappoints. The staff are kind, knowledgable and always help with any view options or requests. Pool is fun and always busy on weekends from non staying guests which is fun for friends to visit and enjoy the amenities.

This is a beautiful hotel! We have family in the area and this is our normal place to stay. You must check out the bagpipes that are there every evening. Very nice pool area! Also, there is an excellent breakfast buffet. Located directly in the Ross Bridge neighborhood, this is a great area.
