Hair on floor on bathroom and in tub at check-in. One of the beds had the bottom sheet in a ball at the foot end of the bed, upon check in. Odor of stay cigarettes was overpowering in the hall and room. When the staff asked how our stay was, I was courteous but truthful, "It was the worse LaQuinta... More

Hair on bathroom floor and in tub. Bottom sheet of bed in a ball, where you should be able to put your feet. Free Breakfast selection was very limited. Staff asked how our stay was, I was courteous and honest. She didnt' really respond well to my response.

Not good. Yes, it was cheap, but you get what you pay for. They were understaffed, and the housekeeping service was almost non-existent. The building itself has supposedly been recently renovated, but you couldn't really tell. Our room didn't feel particularly new and the building didn't feel particularly well cared for. The location is decent, with numerous restaurants in the... More

Although I read reviews about this hotel that said it was undergoing construction, I booked it anyway because the rate was really good and it was conveniently located. I am so glad I did because as of August 18, 2014 I don't see any construction going on and room 135 where I am staying is really nice. They did a... More

This former Baymont Inn hotel became my stop for two nights, August 13-14, 2014. Do not stay here. It so poore and not worth the price ($59 plus tax) Traffic on 280 is horrendous and just getting to shopping (plentiful across the street, including target and Golfsmith) is a nightmare, and dangerous. Originally scheduled to stay on State Farm Parkway... More

Nice remodel but space is space. Small rooms and bathrooms. The room was clean and quiet. Hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend the half-moon shower curtains. Did not have the breakfast but it smelled good. Nice stay for the value.

If you are wanting a reasonable hotel price that is right off 280 in Birmingha, AL, this hotel will work for you. It is clean, but not fancy. It is great for business travel due to its location. The breakfast was not that good, cold, and no variety, but the hotel is right behind many fast food chains. I would... More

My wife and I stayed here 5/27/14. Room amenities standard: coffeepot, iron and board, hairdryer. Wifi with plenty of plugs both 120v and usb. Office chair and recliner. No fridge. Unfortunately, the room either hadn't been cleaned, or was unused for some time. Bathroom fixtures, ice-bucket lid, coffeemaker, desk, chest-of-drawers, etc., were all dusty. Also there was hair in the... More

I had taken my granddaughter on a shopping trip and we enjoyed it a lot and we were very comfortable. No problems. We always try to get La Quinta when we travel. The only problem is that they need more swimming pools at the hotels. Other than that there is not a problem. It was relaxing and nice.

Just stopped in for the night, it was a great nights sweet, the room was very clean and comfortable. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Because of this stay we chose another la Quinta later in our trip to stop into. Updated, clean, and safe.
