I was recently in town on a short business meeting and got reservations at this hotel last minute. Upon arrival I was greeted quite warmly by the front desk staff. I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my room at how spacious it was! The beds were cozy too! The next day I stopped by to get a quick... more

Stayed here for the City Stages concerts. Really nice place. Very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly. Short drive to Birmingham. Not alot to do around here, but thats not the hotels fault. more

My one night stay in the Ramada was so boring. There is just about nothing to do here. Unless you find a shopping cart to roll down the humongous hill which the hotel is located on top of. Beneath the Ramada, there's this shut down burger joint which looks like no one has been caring about for 10 years. Me... more

location is accessible to I-65 and breakfast among the best I've had at similar type hotels. Wanted a convenient location for a dance event nearby. Service and atmosphere are generally subpar; wouldn't stay again w so many other choices within a mile. Sloven guests and smoking employees at the doorway a real turnoff - on a steep hill, elderly might... more

I've stayed at this Ramada several times over the years and I don't think it is as bad as the other reviews. It is not a luxury hotel by any means but the other area hotels have become pricey lately and I think the hotel provides adequate accomodations and service. The breakfast buffet (included) is also adequate. My wife asked... more

Our vehicle was vandalized and robbed during our stay here. The manager on duty stated this was the 5th vehicle break-in in as many weeks. And, the cop who took the report stated they had told the hotel to tell customers not to park where we were parked but they did not warn us!! The hotel states they have 24... more

After check-in, took the one working elevator to my 3rd floor room (and it wasn't sounding very healthy). The next morning when I went to check-out, NO elevator was working. So I had to climb up & down 3 flights of stairs several times to remove everything from my room. When I got to the front desk, the clerk told... more

staff seemed friendly enough. unfortunately the room was well below standard, the bathroom was leaking and there was mould all over the shower curtains. there was a couple of other small issues but i can't remember what they were. maybe we were just unlucky and had a particularly bad room but i wouldn't stay there again. more
