Nice hotel clean and updated rooms. We enjoyed the market and being able to get a beer or bottle of wine on site. The breakfast was good selection of fresh fruit yogurt and eggs and bacon or sausages. The one drawback is that its close to the hospitals and you will hear lots of sirens at night. Staff was friendly... More

This was my second time to stay here when visting my son that lives in Birmingham. It feels like a newer hotel (not sure of the age) it's very clean ( I'm picky). It does have a kitchen which we did not use but we did use the fireplace. The breakfast that's complimentary is just fine. Nina that works the... More

This is one of the nicer looking hotels in Birmingham. The front desk staff are friendly. The nightly snack/drink get together is run well in the dining area. The breakfast buffet is ok. The rooms and hallways are clean. The beds are not super comfortable, but adequate. The wifi worked well. There was not too much noise in the hallways,... More

Convenient location. Room was clean, but bed and bedding needs improvement. The pull out sofa was very uncomfortable for my children. They opted to sleep on the floor the second night of our stay. We loved visiting Birmingham, but would choose a different hotel for a future stay.

Stayed at the hotel for the Birmingham Bowl and the staff was great, the breakfast was very good, the room was clean and they helped us to get where we needed to be. They did suggest Fuego Restaurant for dinner and that was a huge mistake but not their fault.

uab brought me in for work staying at this residence inn hotel. overall my stay was very nice i have one major complaint. Nina working at the reception desk asked me to borrow $10. we delveoped somewhat of a friendly repitore however, asking one of your guests for money is completely unacceptable to me.

We were in town for the graduation of our family's first doctorate recently and chose this location because it was close to the ceremony. Turns out to have been a great choice for lots of other reasons. First it is well maintained. Most residence inn locations are fairly beat up but this facility is in excellent condition. The rooms are... More

Great location for access to UAB and great restaurants downtown. Nice breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities are modern and clean. The workout room was large with up to date equipment. The rooms on the top floors have wonderful views.

Check-in agent was friendly and was assigned a nice large corner room as a MR Gold member. Unfortunately, the bed had dozens of hairs all over! I mean the previous occupant must have ripped out handfuls of his (assuming due to the short hairs) hair and scattered them all over. Disgusting! Clearly the bedsheets were not changed by housekeeping. Too... More

The hotel is very close to the Kirklin Clinic where we had to go. The staff was very friendly every time we came near them. They were helpful. The hotel was clean modern and user friendly, the room was great so was the bed. All in all it is a great place to stay.
