We stayed here for one night on our way out of town. The location was easy to find and the room was great. This newer hotel is comfortable and the staff is very attentive to your needs. We sat in at the little bar after our amazing meal at Bottega and chatted with the front desk folks. Highly recommend staying... more

This hotel is very modern, the rooms are well configured and well maintained. I've enjoyed my stay, wish I could have stayed longer , if so..I would have stayed in the room , just relaxing. more

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel, and never encountered the first problem. The entire staff was extremely nice, and very accomodating - top notch guest service. The rooms were very clean, the internet worked great, and the food was excellent. They offer continental breakfast for free, hot breakfast for a reasonable cost, and a hot menu for lunch and... more

My wife and I stayed here one night when we had tickets to see Robin Williams show at BJCC.We were upgraded to a huge King Suite at check in and it was fantastic.I used the business centre a couple of times and the connections were fast. The hotel was very busy with many events going on at BJCC which is about... more

We stayed here one night and will never stay anywhere else in Birmingham (we used to stay at Doubletree, which is nice, but wanted to try something new). The hotel is brand new, modern but comfortable, has an amazing outdoor seating/eating space, has AMAZING service... The rooms are not huge, but are very nice (and clean). The nicest flat screen... more

This hotel was very clean and the decor was simple but elegant. There is Internet access in the lobby. The free continental breakfast is awesome. Plenty of fresh pink grapefruit and melons. If you want something hot, it available. I ordered a few slices of bacon (delicious). A fantastic seafood restaurant was within walking distance. The staff was polite and... more

This downtown Birmingham Hyatt Place, evidently one of their new concept hotels, is simply superb. From the friendly staff to the awesome room (with typical Hyatt amenities) this place will not disappoint. The only thing that you may not like is the lack of a full service restaurant. They have a free continental breakfast which is a cut above the... more

Our trip was taking us from OKC to Birmingham to Chicago and back. So LOTS of driving time and hotels and sleeping were very important. We'd stayed at a Hyatt Place once before in Memphis and loved it, so we booked this one. We stayed for one night and upon arriving found out they had just had their ribbon cutting... more
