have stayed here for the past 3 years. this used to be a Best Western, then was Riverchase and now is a Days Inn. In this travelers opinion, they have changed their name trying to change their bad reputation. Checked in and our first room had saturated carpets and had a very strong cat urine type odor. When i complained,... more

I stayed here because of the location which is very close to the mall. That is where the good side of this hotel ends. The staff is rude The pool was dirty The air didn't work properly The tv had a volume limit on it so that you couldn't turn it up so you could hear it. I wish I... more

I don't think this property is affliated with Best Western any longer and it certainly shows. The room was filthy. To start, the front door had a gap so you could see outside; on the positive, the door locks worked. The A/C unit was missing a knob so you could not properly adjust the temperature and the other knob came... more

Came to Hoover for SEC Baseball Tournament and stayed here on a friend's recommendation. Was very pleased with the accomodations. Inexpensive, clean rooms, with a pretty good continental breakfast. Easy access to the ballpark. I'll be staying here again next year for the Tourney. more

Try REAL HARD to find something different --- but if you are on a real budget, I guess you could do it: Smokey, Non-smoking room. Not Enough Towels. Hairs Everywhere. Very Dirty Microwave. Very Dirty Pool. No extra Toilet Paper!!!! We called for more toilet paper......They said, ok we will bring it. We waited & waited, then called again- They... more

About the only good thing you could say about this hotel is that is right across the street from the Galleria Mall. Upon arrival, we unloaded the car with all our luggage and baby items, into the room. The room was very hot. We turned on the AC full blast and waited about 15 minutes. STILL HOT. While waiting, we... more

We were on our way to Baton Rouge and stayed here on our way. The first time we stayed (on the way to Baton Rouge) it was a nice room, good mattress and extremely friendly staff. Only draw back was being by the stairwell with teenagers going up and down and yelling to each other..obviously not here to sleep. The... more

Overall it is a nice motel, but like others my wife and I have stayed at, the drapes on the front window don't close all the way and if there is a mirror on the wall as you look in through the crack, anyone can see the bed area! The TV remote worked fine except you had to point it... more

We booked a room at this hotel while traveling, so it was an impromptu stop. The woman's attitude behind the counter should have warned me about our upcoming experience, because she was sour, unhappy, and unfriendly (and this was a holiday weekend!). We didn't find our remote for the TV even though the hotel clerk said we had one and... more

Booked a $63 room for a Friday night from the hotel's website: kingsize bed, fridge, microwave. Room also had an ironing board, hair dryer, and coffee maker. Room is narrow and could be considered a little cramped with all the stuff in it. There was a couch with a coffee table, and a desk with a comfortable office chair that... more
