The Wynfrey is an older establishment; well located for the Southern Birmingham Traveler. My room was updated and the bed was WONDERFUL!! Very clean and enjoyable. The hotel is connected to the Galleria Mall and you can walk right from the hotel into the mall; great! Also, Shula's Steak House is in the Hotel. more

Went with a group to this hotel for several days. Definitely not worth the money. No internet access except in the lobby (or steep price in the room). I enjoyed my stay. Although nothing any more special then the LaQuinta inn we stayed at the night before. I traveled with my teenage girls and the convince of the mall was great. That made the stay. For the price you pay you would think there would be a small fridge in the room - there wasn't one, but was told "if we have one we will see what we can do". The rooms at The Wynfrey are furnished nicely and most of the furnishings are rather old. In someways this adds to the charm (Beds, Chairs, Paintings) and in other ways very annoying (outdated air con system and bathroom plumbing).
