Let's get the double espresso issue out of the way first. 78 Yuan (roughly 10 Yuan to the GB pound) for a double espresso - they just double the price of a single. I mean - COME ON GUYS!! It wasn't even a particularly good one. We tried complaining but they didn't seem to understand what the issue was. As... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July 2013 during my business trip to Luoyang. This hotel is located next to my office branch so it was the best choice for me. The hotel lobby is very grand however, it's 5-star impression was soon disappeared as none of the staff can speak English. Fortunately I can speak some... More

We found the Mudu Lee Royal Hotel to be very nice, very clean, but had very hard beds. Their breakfast was extremely good. I only wish that there would have been a few more employees that spoke English. We wanted to eat at their Chinese restaurant on the 4th floor but no one spoke English and we had no way... More

Stayed for 3 nights with my husband and 3 kids. It seems that they're trying hard to be a 5 star hotel, but at best they are a 3 star. Service was good for us, from the greeters at the door, to the numerous free toiletries, daily gifts, and the numerous curteous attendants, but it was just too dirty! The... More

Stayed at this hotel on June 5, 2012, as part of a twenty day liesure and sightseeing trip to China. Checked-in at about 5:30 PM and heard a terribly loud noise which was continuous in my room and which made the ceiling seem to vibrate. Expressed my displeasure to a night duty staff member who informed me the nosie was... More

Don't know if all the rooms were the same, but we did get free internet in the rooms which was a treat seeing as we hadn't been in touch with back home for a while. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Bathroom was very spacious and the toiletries were well stocked. Only down side was that the lifts... More

The Hotel it self is a fairly moden large hotel with adiquate room but the lifts are inadiquate we waited a least 10 Minutes each time. It is also located in the new part of the city with no resturants or bar anywhere near. The management is absolutley terrible. We checked in without incident and latter went to the bar... More

This is part of my two week Henan / ShangXi tour and the travel agent arranged this hotel. The lobby is nice, and the bedroom is large and quiet. The beds are very comfortable with great overhead reading lights. I wish the TV screen is bigger and there are more non-Chinese channels. Anyway, I got CNN and HBO, that is... More

This is an excellent hotel in every way. The restaurant is particularly great. Do ask before you order the tea. I mistakenly ordered a local tea and the bill was RMB158 (US$25). The only minus is the location. It is in the newly developed area so there are many taxis. You have to order a taxi and the poor bellboy... More

A fully modern hotel with large comfortable room. The front desk staff's English was more than sufficient. Wired internet. The breakfast was great. Mostly Chinese, but the cook will prepare you freshly fried eggs along with some made to order soup & noodles. The buffet had bacon and sausage. I don't know if it's possible to get a non-smoking room.
