Stayed here for business summit. Comfortable room to stay in and a "bar" down by lobby that worked out well in the evening (but didn't open until 5). Would be ok staying here again, but didn't like that the air conditioning doesn't work. Had to open the windows in evening to cool the room down (hard to sleep because of... More

This is also called the Dunhuang Hotel, not to be confused with at least two other "Dunhuang Hotels". There are several sections and we were in the newer one. Usual large Chinese standard room, two beds with firm but comfortable mattresses. Average cleanliness bathroom but everything operating well including AC. 500Yuans during a conference. Other conference attendees were in the... More

Definitely, it's not a guest house! It's just a traditional Chinese hotel, with double rooms and private bathroom. The price is a little bit expensive even for hotel. The room is up to standard, but not really worth the price. The location is good, it is close to the Dunhuang museum, and bus station and lots of shops around. If... More

Its centrally located, close to the bus station, the night markets, many restaurants. The room was small but clean and functional. It has a large bathroom which doesn’t have a bath tub, only a simple curtain, so be aware that its one of those rooms where the shower wets the whole bathroom floor. We paid 258 RMB/night for a double-bed... More

This was a great hotel, Chinese Govt owned I believe. We had new rooms in a new block very well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is large so an underpass takes you form one area to another. The location was great, walking distance to the town centre the restaurants and the night markets.A perfect tourist location. Breakfasts were good we... More
