This was the major spot for our trip to Huangshan mountain area. My family and I spent one night here. The rooms are big and comfortable. The hotel even prepare flashlight and coat for you to see the sunrise. But do not expect too much about the breakfast. We all had very good sleep quality here.

The hotel is located on the foot of Danxia Peak; it is a three star hotel. But the design is first class. The lobby with high ceilings and elegant lighting, the marble wall and floor, all of them look so impressive and grand. The mountain scenery is so spectacular, this hotel has got it all. We went to Huangshan for... More

Not very good English speaking staff, were annoyed when the told us different information about the restaurants etc. Not good service. Rooms were very nice but unfortunately it was sooo sensitivity. When we went to bed we could here the neighbors TV, kept me awake until they turned it off. Woke up in the middle of the night because of... More

This hotel is located in a perfect spot in the middle of the part, and that is a really great advantage. (There are not any other options as far as I understand). All the rest is below average - price, food, service, etc. But location beats it all, so i'll stay there again if need be.

We reached Xihai Hotel after an hour and a half of hiking from the top of the cable car! It was near the end of the day, we were tired, and we were just happy at the thought of a place to put our head down for the night. What a wonderful surprise when we got to the hotel! It... More

Very isolated and hard to reach, but the views are worth it. Be sure to map how you will get up and down the mountain before you get here. Also the bus station in Tankou will allow you to store luggage so don't take anything up the mountain, you do not absolutely need. Even from the cable cars to hotels... More

Make note that the cable car closes at 4:30pm. If you arrive there after this time, you can't get to the hotel unless you walk. Needless to say, we had to find an additional hotel for the first night and then take the bus up in the morning to the cable car. There was only one sentence at checkout that... More

We stayed in a large and very comfortable room overlooking the hotel terrace and with a splendid view down to the valley. Bathroom rather a bit small with a shower and one wash bassin only but clean with good laundry. - Buffet luncheon on arrival was OK, however no staff around to order anything to drink. For dinner there was... More

In case you are wondering why reviews of this hotels keep swinging from one end of the spectrum to the other end....that is because there are 2 different wings. South Wing = New Wing = Nan Lou (in mandarin) North Wing = Old wing = Bei Lou (in mandarin) South Wing: We stayed at the south wing recently and it... More

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this hotel. I was expecting an average accommodation based on some of the reviews, but after the long hike up those stairs, I was very happy with my room, and the facility in general. The positives... the location is great for a jumping off point for the west canyon. The lobby, lounge,... More
