We really enjoyed our stay at Rey Lagarto. Sandra and other staff are incredibly warm and accommodating. The hostel is simple, but very comfortable and relaxing. We opted for a room with a private bath which was equipped with plenty of hot water and towels, and was cleaned daily. We spent most of our trip out in the incredible natural... More

- Far from center and bus terminal- a long way to walk in the desert heat with bags for something that is not that great - No receptionist- confirmed arrival time the day before and no one was there, it was locked and we had to make an international call for them to send someone to open the door -... This hostel (formerly known as Inca North and most tour companies still know it as this) is fine - it's quite far from town which was a tiring sometimes if going back and forth but does give you stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The staff are super lovely and our private room was beautiful, also the 'sunken' living room... More

One oof the best hostel in San Pedro de Atacama. The staff, Sandra, was so nice that just make you fell at home. Moreover, the place is really tidy with a very facilitated common place. Dont miss this hostel if you dont have much budget but still want to have great experience in SPdA.

I came across the hostel Rey Lagarto, whilst taking an afternoon stroll through the laid back working class neighborhood of El Carmen. The hostel has beauuutiful panoramic view of the volcanic range wich the hostels in the town don´t have. The rooms at the hostel were a lot more spacious and had more character than the ones i previously stayed... More

I truly liked staying in this place. The staff is nice, kind and always helpful. It's a 10-min walk from SPA center, but it worth. At night, the neighborhood is quiet... good to sleep. The property had some problems with payment mode in the time, but Karin, the owner, was totally helpful to solve it. I'd surely come back. They... More

The hostal is a great deal if you don't mind a 15min walk to the center. But if you are in San Pedro, you are supposed to support this kind of exercise:) Otherwise, it is clean, quiet, safe and reasonably priced. On top of that, it provides for free Trek bikes, which are useful not only to get to the... More

This is San Pedro de Atacama. This is an adventure. The whole puna is here. The sourrounding geography and the unbelieveble full stars sky are unique. This hostal is located in the north area of the small town, 15 minutes walking distance to downtown. They provide free bikes (this is a PLUS). Rooms are ok for this kind of adventure... More

An excellent choice of hostel. Very clean and comfortable. They have free wifi Internet and mountain bikes with helmets to use at your leisure.... Incanorth also has excellent tours, we tried 7 tours and we loved them all.
