Pat'ta Hoiri Hotel is a small boutique hotel, an intimate and friendly atmosphere with a modern design and care. We are located in the historic center of San Pedro de Atacama, in a privileged place where tranquility is mixed, the mystique of the environment, art and crafts. You will find a relaxed atmosphere where you will be considered a guest.
We booked this hotel through a package and we were extremely pleased. The hotel is reached by crossing a small bridge over a canal after entering the property. The hotel is decorated with many indigenous pieces and has a courtyard with shady spaces set aside for relaxing and a small pool for cooling off. The rooms are nice and spacious and all have a refrigerator for placing water and snacks in. Yes it is rustic but it is clean and comfortable. By far the best part were the wonderful people working there. Our Spanish is very limited but we used google translate and had no problems. The kind gentleman allowed us to check in early as we had arrived from the airport a few hours prior to check in but had a tour booked for the afternoon. The breakfast was simple but healthy and plentiful. Each day we were asked if we wanted eggs. The hotel was always willing to help us in any way. They pointed out the area for us to change money and the store right across the street where we were able to stock up on water. Everyone was so helpful. We had a very positive experience here. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!…

This hotel is run by people who have never been to any other hotel it seems. Payment is upfront, even though booking was covered by credit card. Even worse: the owner tried to scam us by trying to add an extra 'local tax' of 19% to the rates they offered via booking.com It was only after us having to call booking.com he came back to say that 'he was mistaken and we would not have to pay the extra 19% on top. Unfortunately his memory is very short as we noticed that guests coming after us were again charged an extra 19%. So this was certainly not an honest mistake! Beware of this if you decide to go there. The rooms are spartan, no heating, no TV, empty fridge, no water and no amenities to speak of. At night this means the room is very cold and the only option is to take a warm shower and hit the bed. Blankets and bed are good. Breakfast: 1 slice of cheese, 1 slice of salami and some sugary paste are put on your table. The fresh fruit and the eggs were excellent. We found it weird that the breakfast only starts at 8am, while most tours for Atacama desert leave from there between 7am and 8am. They prepared a small bag for us, but still... It would make a lot more sense to change these opening hours. Wifi is very spotty at best. Knowledge of English is non-existent, so brush up on your Spanish. All in all, bad service, not really friendly and below all standards for the rates you pay. And trying to scam us really soured the entire mood from the start.…

I wasn't a hotel guest but the receptionist, Felipe, went above and beyond what I needed. I was alone and lost with no phone, no memory of my hotel name or location and feeling desperate. Felipe calmed me and googled hotels in the area until I recognized mine. He then called a cab and I was on my way feeling extremely grateful for his help.

Good location, walking distance from main street Caracoles. Staff is super friendly and helpful, Felipe and Laura helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast is good, Maria Angelica made us scrambled eggs during our stay, always with a smile on her face and super polite. Bedroom is ok for a couple, simple, but good. In our opinion the room was a bit cold, but if you ask for a heater they will provide you one. We went during winter time. I highly recommend this place! And of course, Caco, the dog, is the funniest little chubby thing.

This is a very basic hotel, but adequate in this town where nothing is easy to get. Location is a bit far off the town centre but luckily the town is small. It is very quiet though compared to the core of the town. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly. They didn't have enough electric converter so we ended up having to get one from a block away.

The owner was pending of guess needs, the rooms are clean and have privacy. Fresh hot prepared breakfast included. Close to the central town area (walking distance). The shower has good pressure, good size bathroom. It has a small pool and a covered airside area to hung up with friends,

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We were welcomed in by a cordial staff member who showed us around the small and very quaint hotel grounds before showing us our room. The Hotel Overall hotel is small with only 10 or so rooms - there is a small pool in the middle of the courtyard, a covered reading area, and a center palapa for more seating. Hotel has a breakfast area and a tiny little boutique shop with art, jewelry, and clothing for sale. (They do not have snacks, food, or water for sale - you must go out into Caracoles to purchase these things) The Room Clean and quaint. Very minimal in furniture. Queen sized bed with no air conditioning but they had an oscillating fan. Room temp was hotter than outside at times - so be warned that there is no air-con. Desk, chair, drawers, and a safe. Overall the room needs a little modernizing - perhaps a paint job and some minor spackling of nicked walls. There was a broken beam over the bed in room #3 that looked suspiciously dangerous. We moved the bed to one side of the room every night in case the roof decided to cave in during our stay. The Bathroom Tiny bath but clean. Notes: - If you are going on an early excursion, let the front desk know so they can pack you a snack. Consisted of fruit juice, snack bar, and a yogurt cup. Unfortunately the yogurt never came with utensils so was hard to consume. - perhaps ask not to get Room 3 until they have repaired the severely broken beam. …

We were in a motorcycle tour in San Pedro de Atacama and we had a book in this hotel. Not good. No bar or restaurant inside... so, if you wanted to drink or grab a bite you had to go outside. The breakfast also not good. We don’t recommend it, unfortunately!

The hotel has what is essential in Atacama, a good and clean room, a comfortable bed and hot water on the shower! The staff is also very friendly and we love Bottas (the yellow cat)! The bad point is that breakfast is not very good with little options! Internet is also very instable! Therefore, considering it is in Atacama, it is a good hotel if you look for the good basics! In Atacama if you want extras you will pay a lot more!

It's a small hotel well located near the main street (Caracoles). Room has good space, infrastructure in good shape, bathroom without box, all in rustic style. There's a small pool and gym. Cleaning service average, frontdesk good, breakfast and wi-fi signal OK. Hotel prices are expensive in SPA, including this one. But it's overall satisfactory. PS: when you have early tour, they offer a snack pack to replace the breakfast.
