San Pedro is not cheap, and this hotel is not cheap, but at least in this hotel you don't feel ripped off. The quality of the rooms, pool and communal areas is of a very high standard, and the service generally very good. You feel that you have got what you paid for. The take-away breakfast (for early trips) is... More

Stayed for 4 nights whilst visiting Chile. It is not cheap but worth the money with excellent 'bungalow' type rooms which are clean and spacious.Lovely grounds and pool with helpful reception.Breakfast is good with a fair choice of items but they provide only a meagre sandwich takeaway for early trips so could do better than that.It is only a short walk,15... This hotel on the outskirts of the town is charming. It is built in the local vernacular with adobe walls and straw roofs. The staff are pleasant and helpful and speak good English. There is a nice swimming pool and very attractive gardens. They produce a great Pisco Sour as well!

The altiplanico hotel in San Pedro is a located a 10min walk from out of the town centre. The walk back at night might be a bit dark so take a flashlight. The hotel features nice cabin style rooms, ours had a great outside shower, well protected from the wind a lots of privacy. The rooms are basic but have... More

When looking at the options in San Pedro, you could spend a fortune at Explora or Awasi or Tierra. Or, you can stay in a hostel. Or, you could stay here. Not cheap, but an excellent value for the money. The rooms have a great design aesthetic, are comfortable and spacious and the bathrooms are great with both an indoor... More

A series of cute individual rooms under its own straw roof. Each room has an indoor shower and an outdoor shower. There is a stone sofa with cushions inside and a sitting area out back. While the rooms are a little dark, they are spacious and interestingly decorated with local crafts. Thick walls do wonders at cooling during the day... More

... The kindness and the quality of this "world's ends" hotel and restaurant is, even three years later, very astonishing for me ... Very very good warm enthusiastic welcome and very good food in this exceptional location... Very pleasant bike tour from the hotel in the mountain absolutely exhausting because of the altitude... Rare place... Bravo!!!

One of the most peaceful and serene hotels we ever visited . The rooms are fantastic in their design and each has its own private patio and great bathroom with a fantastic shower. The grounds and casitas are incredibly well maintained and very clean. The front desk was very professional, service oriented and efficient. While the hotel is on the outskirts of... More

My fiancé and I stayed at the Altiplanico hotel and really loved it. All of the rooms are these cute Adobe casitas that had outdoor showers. The hotel is a bit outside "town" but it was a 10 minute walk from the main street or a 3,000 CLP cab ride. I enjoyed the distance since it made for a more... More

For our first night in Chile we really enjoyed with very quite hotel (except for the dogs barking during the night). Bed are very comfortable, the room is very clean. You have many various different places where you can sit and relax outdoor. The only negative point is the cold receptionist where you for sure do not want to ask... More
