We were switched at the last minute to this hotel, where we stayed for 3 nights during our group tour in Chile in January. The hotel had a lovely swimming pool in the courtyard, but that was its only redeeming feature. Our room was the poorest of all the rooms we had on our tour – small, dark, not particularly... More

It is okay to spend one night, pillows are dreadful, big and uncomfie, pool is okay no comfortable chairs though. The cost is high and it is no worth it. Chile has a huge problem about this charging for hotels that are just like hostels. Same in Bahía Inglesa. I did not choose it the company did. But I won't... More

This hosteria or hotel is very central in the small and dusty town of San Pedro in the Atacama area of Chile, one can easily walk in the unpaved streets [no rain here] to all the restaurants, shops and convenience stores, along with a variety of travel services to tourist spots. There is an old church being restored and an... More

The hotel has recently changed name and has become one of the Hotel Diego de Almagro group hotels. However, having stayed in two of the other hotels in this chain, I was extremely disappointed with this hotel in San Pedro. Firstly, the hotel is very expensive - San Pedro is full of cheap hotels and hostels with a range of... More

Located in the middle of the villa, you can walk from there to all nightlife and places. Do not waste money in expensive hotels in Atacama, they are all teh same... trust me... Do not stay in the rooms facing the swimming pool. If you are a motorcycle traveller, please visit my blog: www.viagemkikobarros.blogspot.com.br

Not sure if I was a lucky guest or things have changed since the previous reviews were written. My family and visited San Pedro the week of April 14th. We requested rooms across the pool as we had heard these were better. To summarize this is a great hotel we found at an affordable price. Rooms are not new and... More

So there's not a lot of choice in the middle of the Atacama Desert - and so what? This place is nice, good enough rooms, variable water pressure, and really pretty grim food (large servings of dessicated chicken, slow service) but as I say, so what? If you want luxe, stay home. Breakfast was particularly strange, consisting of mainly desert-type... More

We arrived here with a large tour group after a plane trip and lengthy bus ride. We had no choice but if we did we would have chosen differently. Our group had lunch which was OK considering the crowd they were serving. How about two massive pork chops, gravy and some potatoes for lunch in the high desert? I tried... More

Yes we read all the reviews but decided that after a 24 hour bus ride we wanted somewhere close to main part of town. At $200 it is totally unacceptable. The wifi is unreliable. If the internet cafe across the road can deliver a good service a $200 night hotel can as well but doesnt. 3 TV stations which due... More

I stayed here for three nights in September 2013. The room was ok-ish, and the location is pretty good (2min from the main street). HOWEVER: - The internet was just not working in the rooms, despite their claims on booking.com that they provide internet access. And yes, you don't go to San Pedro to stream movies, but being able to... More
