Located a 20-25 minute walk outside of town. Rooms spacious but spartan and there is a nice small pool and sunbathing area. Food is poor served in a large souless restaurant by indifferent staff. Last morning early breakfast was atrocious with hardly anything on offer.

This is a pleasant hotel in quiet surroundings. However the rooms, while spacious are poorly furnished. There are few "creature comforts" no air con, no tv (not that we were bothered) no fridge, no bedside lights and very little storage space (basically just a wardrobe), walls are thin so you can hear conversations next door. The shower was weak and... More

We were treated so well, including the manager providing us with mate de coca tea the night before our trip to the geysers (at over 14,000 feet). Then he left us a bottle to take with us the next morning at 4:30 a.m. along with a brown bag breakfast. The room was comfortable. The hotel was very, very quiet --... More

We were happy to have chosen this hotel, away from the noise of San Pedro (it's only small, but gets very lively after dark). It's a pleasant (but very dark at night - bring a torch) walk from the town centre, although is a bit further than the hotel suggests, more like 30 minutes walk to the main square. Good... More

The rooms ("motel style") are clean and comfortable, although a little basic - for example, no tv, although this wasn't an issue for us. There is free wifi in the lounge/dining area, which reaches to some of the rooms nearby. Breakfast was good, dinner was ok - you generally get a choice of soup or salad, plus a choice of... More

The hotel took some finding, since the instructions on their website (now much better) were less than clear - basically, if you are coming on the main road from Calama, as soon as you hit the first crossroad on the edge of San Pedro, turn left. Continue up that road for a kilometre or so. Shortly after you cross the... More

A bit difficult to find at first as it is located outside the main streets of San Pedro towards Pukara Quitor, a cross from a small, undeep river. (As a recommendation for management, I would put a light next to the sign). The hotel has basic but clean rooms; wifi is not well received in the rooms but only in... More

I have been with my wife at Iorana Tolache at the end of 2012 for honeymoon and we loved our stay. The staff had a natural sympathy. We could feel they were being kind not just as an obligation. Other comments about this hotel say it is a bit far from city center. Me and my wife saw many advantages... More

The hotel is very nice, staff atentious and willing to help and give recommendations as needed. Breakfast is pretty good but dinners were only ok. The rooms spacious and clean and the beds were also very good, providing a nice night of sleep after tiring days. The downs: First night the room was very cold and the heating was not... More
