Thanks to Hector and Nataniel for their help and great recommendations during my stay. The hostel has a great social vibe. The beds comfy and hot showers. Only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is the noise from the construction of renovations at the hostal. These are only during the day but really noisy. The end result should... More

We stayed for 2 nights in this hostel in one of the 6 bed dorms. The hostel is centrally located just off the main street of the town. The hostel staff (especially Nathaniel) were very friendly and willing to answer any query you may have. The rooms were quite small for a 6 person dorm and very dark. The bed... More

Very nice hostel, they work with good tour operators only and always happy to help you with whatever question/problem you have. Interior is very nice, atmosphere is great. My trip wouldn't be so great without recommendations from staff and without their help when I got my transportation cancelled - these guys do much more then you would expect from such... More

We had a great 5 night stay at Hostal Rural. The staff, especially Natanael, were incredibly helpful, friendly, and hospitable. The location is excellent for all your San Pedro activities and the hostel has a great, laid-back vibe. Definitely aimed at a younger crowd. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Hostel was awesome. Comfortable beds, lots of common areas and on the last day they fixed the hot water. Dont book any activities or tours through the hostel. Its cheaper to book direct, sounds obvious but the hostel will tell you the quality is better through them when it is the exact same and over priced.

Many thanks to Hector and the other members of the staff, which made my stay really nice. Except the fact that the rooms are somewhat small and dark & that the showers don't always have hot water, the place is superb. The dining tables are very inviting for social activity, the kitchen is decent - and there are hammocks and... More

We originally booked in for 3 nights ended up staying 5! This hostel is situated right in the mid of the main st! You can book all your tours from here including the salt flats! The staff have fluent English so can help you with all your questions! Hector, who worked here helped us out a lot and even went... More

This hostel is nice. The attendents are kind and helpful. The accomodations were ok, except for one bed that had fleas. The main problem was that the water shower was cold, differently of what was announced. It's a good place to stay in San Pedro de Atacama if you like the party type of hostel with cool street art. Anyway,... More

Great hostel, staff are as good as I've ever experienced, incredibly helpful and fun to be around. A family atmosphere is aimed for and achieved. Probably aimed more at the younger crowd but a noise cessation rule at midnight is excellent, especially for those up at 4 for the geysers. Yes, sometimes the wifi didn't work or the water was...
