The Kimal Poblado has a very laid back atmosphere which is just the thing when you're travelling a lot. The staff are friendly and the cabanas made of natural materials are a delight. There was always plenty of hot water for a shower, very welcome after a sweaty day in the desert. The breakfast was plentiful so with a more... More

Excellent location right of the main street, Caracoles, yet the cabins are in a landscaped "compound" that is quiet and very restful, making sitting out on the shaded decks in front of the cabin enjoyable. The restaurant had excellent food, but there were no proteins at the breakfast buffet except sliced ham and cheese (i.e. no eggs). The maid service... More

Location right at the centre of San Pedro. Lots of bars and restaurants and tourist agencies nearby. Two twinned hotels either side of the street. Ours was nice and rustic. Pool good but a bit cold (can you believe in the Atacama). Staff exceptionally helpful.

Very nice hotel surrounded by vegetation, in the middle of the desert that is very nice. The staff was kind and attentive, the beds very confortable. Wifi worked very good at all times. Plenty of water for showers. The pool was great after a day out in the desert. The cleaning was also a good point. I would recommend this... More

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and we enjoyed it. Nice room, comfortable beds. Wifi worked from our room. Hot water or water in general not always available, you have to be patient being in the desert. Instead of having breakfast, you can ask for a take away box that was good. If you do excursions with them, it... More

There are a brace of Kimal hotels in San Pedro de Atacama, both located a minutes walk from the centre of town. We chose to stay in the Hotel Poblado Kimalsan as we're not disappointed, the hotels received great reviews on Trip advisor and various guide books and most people who lived in San Pedro de Atacama spoke highly of... We spent 3 night in their cabana Moving all around every day for a different tour. We loved staying There having our own cabana with The patio relazione in The afternoon after each tour before dinner. Perfect for The Life in San Pedro. Close to The center Very kindly staff

I have stayed at 4 different hotels in San Pedro and this is my favorite. I love the hut style rooms with a shaded patio for lounging around. It is also 1 block from Caracoles where most of the shopping and eateries are located. The staff is very friendly even if their English may not be fluent (depends on whose... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here and we loved it. The room was actually more of a private cabana set among a nice garden. As a result, the space was quiet and felt nicely private. We booked a tour of the valle de la luna through the front desk that was awesome (drinks and even a snack were provided). The... More

The room and the location are great, and it's clean. But it's not very quiet and especially, completely overpriced ! For 200 dollars per night (we stayed 3 nights), the wifi didn't work, the room was dark and one of the light wasn't working. But for this kind of high-standard hotel, there was no service ! People at the reception... More
