The hotel consists of individual adobe huts, ours was fairly basic and small, there was a wardrobe in the room but we struggled to find enough space for two travel bags. However, there was a wall-mounted modern TV and satellite box. The bathroom had been newly refurbished and was really nice, the shower was great with hot water and very... More

We stayed here for three nights as part of a S-A tour and had a great time. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, maybe a bit small. I know as a traveler I should enjoy the environment, but it bugged me there was no TV and very unstable wifi. The place itself is nicely located just off the... More

Booked through booking.com which advertised 92,000 Pesos per night. We were charged at the counter 115,000 Pesos and they tried claiming it had something to do with the exchange rate between time of booking and the time of payment (very strange!) The room didn't even have shampoo or soap in the bathroom when we arrived and we had to ask... More

first room we were given smelt of sewage, so moved to room next to reception that was better, but very noisy as outside was used as a meeting place. They have spent money on new TVs in the rooms but should have used the money to improve the rooms.

Good position in main shopping street and easy walk to square and all restaurants. The Hotel room provided no heating and when we stayed in July it was very cold inside. The shower was very small and sometimes there was no water but this may have been caused by the maintenance that was was taking place. The walls were thin... More

The value for simplicity and prices is not good enough, but they have a hot water and good shower 24hs. The breakfast is good, and they left a package of lunch when I left the hotel at 4am for geyser del tatio. The staff is very good. Only thing I needed and the hotel dont have, was a heater inside... A characterful hotel, in a good location near the bottom of the main street in San Pedro. We had a nice, clean and spacious room. The plentiful outdoor seating is excellent and breakfast had a very good variety. We stayed as part of a wider tour with Tucan Travel, so can't really comment on how good value it was in... More

Stayed here as part of an Exodus Tour, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but ok for a short visit. Breakfast was great and hotel was in a great location for getting in and out of San Pedro. Wifi was really patchy and on some days didn't work at all but all in all a decent... More

This is the only hotel that I stayed in in San Pedro so I cannot say where it ranks locally. What I can tell you is that after being in some pretty rubbish accommodation in Bolivia, it was a welcome place to relax for a few nights. The good bits: 1) friendly staff 2) pretty good outside area with wicker... More

Perhaps my standards had been beaten down by too many marginal hotels in Bolivia and Peru, but I liked the Don Raul, where our 'adventure tour' group lodged for two nights. Comfy bed, OK (but very tight) bathroom, strong and reliable wi-fi signal, nice breakfast buffet. Rooms are arranged motel style around a dusty courtyard. Better lighting and a table... More
