I stayed at Club La Serena in May for four nights. I found the hotel rooms and grounds to be comfortable and clean with a good, filling breakfast included in the price of the room. The location was very good with the beach across the road and only a 25-30 minute pleasant walk to the old city center. The best... More

I was hesitant to stay here after reading the mixed reviews, but I'm happy I did. For this price point (taking into account that La Serena is VERY overpriced), the hotel was well maintained, clean (with one or two exceptions), and had a lot to offer. FREE BICYCLES FOR USE Enough said. There's a nice bike path along the beach... More

We stayed at Club La Serena for a night after a tour of the Elqui Valley. It's a nice place to land after several days in the hot-and-dusty of the hills - across the street from the beach, nice rooms, comfortable bed. Their restaurant (Brisas) has light food options that are necessary after three days of plated meals in the... More

We were here early December and the accommodation felt like it had been empty for months. It felt chilly for the first 24 hours. Our experience in the restaurant was mixed: salmon good, Caesar salad was good, baked clams not. Bathroom definitely in need of renovation. It's a long walk, nearly an hour, from La Serena but the beach was... More

Good hotel design, comfortable beds, decent breakfast. Improvements needed in wifi coverage and general hotel maintenance. The hotel has restaurant, but our experience was bad. I recommend walk around (or take your car) for other options.

My auntie and I stayed at Club La Serena Hotel in Chile for one night, we chose this hotel as it looked really nice and it was across the road from the sea. Yes it is across the road from the sea but besides that there was nothing spectacular about it. It almost appeared as it was abondoned, when you... More

Don't let the pictures on the Internet fool you. We had booked online because we wanted to stay in a hotel on the ocean. This was not a cheap price so we wrongly assumed it would be nice. The rooms are filthy (I really don't think the rooms had been vacuumed in a very long time). The bathroom was small... More

Not too bad of a location, check in was a pain though, very slow and confusing. I travel for business and sometimes the local dealer makes the reservations for me, this proved to be problematic, they didn't ask for a second night and we had to relocate for the next night. the restaurant wasn't too bad, service was better than... We stayed here for one night, which was okay. It is too much a familyhotel for us to stay for a long time (crowded pool and children running around during breakfast). Our room was spacious with a separate bedroom and even a balcony. And a refrigerator! Decoration a bit dated but you must walk at the beach and not sit... More

We stayed there 1 night on our way back from the valley de elqui. The rooms were nice and clean and near the beach. It should be said that Av. del Mar seemed to always have traffic jams even on a sunday so it was a little annoying to get in and out of the hotel. The pool was very... More
