Finding this BnB by car was one of the most stressful experiences during my South America adventure - both Google Maps and Expedia showed the residence a few blocks inland of it's actual location, where the road is cut in half by a line of trees. Luckily, the house itself is a haven for those looking to relax. We de-stressed... More

This is the most enchantment hostel in Isla Negra Chile, La conexion del poeta is alive, always change to improve, with the great environment and you can feel the absolutely and fantastic energy in any corner of the hostel or in the backyard. La conexion del poeta it’s not only a place to rest o sleep, is a place where... More

Beautiful hostel in a beautiful, peaceful town. Loved the hostel and loved Isla Negra. Rustic, Eco-friendly hostel, close to the ocean and only a short walk from the 'main strip' of town. Clean rooms, great service and an awesome outdoor area where we enjoyed a fire and live music one evening. While here I also learnt to make different types... More

I absolutely loved this hostal. I found this hostal, and Isla Negra, the perfect place to connect with others, with nature, and with one's own spirituality. The rooms were very clean, rustic, and colorful. The quotations painted on the walls had me pondering, and the general atmosphere of the hostal was geared towards inclusion, community, and teaching. Many different types... More

This is a beautiful hostel overlooking the sea but unfortunately the whole experience was ruined by our interactions with the owner, Sandra. She seemed quite nice when we arrived and showed us around the hostel. It is forbidden to wash dishes indoors. Dishes must be washed outside, in the cold. The shower is terrible. Changes between hot and cold without... More

Sandra has created a mini haven to get away from all craziness. With a cosy log fire its lovely to spend your evenings with Sandra learning how to make Native American art. For those who enjoy it the hostel offers many therapies including reiki and massages. The Eco messages is through out all the hostel .You really can feel Sandras... More

Sandra is a great hostess and can make anyone feel welcome. I booked a single bedroom but was upgraded to a double because the room wasn't occupied, so I had the chance to sleep in a super comfy bed with an electric blanket that kept my feet really warm. Sandra also made breakfast and shared with me her vision of... More

Isla Negra is known mainly because of Pablo Neruda, famous Chilean poet. And it is still a Mecca of artists, writers, poets. It"s a magic place and no wonder that artists have chosen to live and work here. The hostel I was staying perfectly fit to this magic place. If you want to spend a magnificent weekend or just rest... This is a great place to relax and enjoy the general area. The hostel is well supplied, laid-out, comfy, and very clean. The owner, Sandra, is wonderfully friendly and likes to chat and help out with learning Spanish. Also lots of eco-friendly things going on, which is a pleasant change. Big tip: the place is hard to find...call Sandra and... More
