The room was in the back building and stayed during rainy season so a/c was not necessary. Hot shower and water pressure was great. You can see the owner's smart ideas on renovating the old building to cozy space with modest decorations. Mosquitoes were well controlled and there was none in the room I stayed even it was on 1st... I've stayed here for two nights. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was very cozy and I had a good sleep. The staff was nice and friendly. The have free bicycles to use, which is a good thing as the downtown area is quite far away. You could still walk, but it's much quicker with the bicycle.

We arrived at Coconut House exhausted after having spent the day travelling to Bam Pakaad and crossing from Thailand into Cambodia. We only stayed at Coconut House one night but had a very positive experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming although they seemed to have very little English. The room was spacious and very well decorated, it felt... More

The rooms are comfortable and the air conditioning works well. However, the wifi is spotty. The staff's English is poor. They do not clean daily and the bathroom was dirty. There was loud construction every morning and loud music every night. They locked us out after midnight and did not inform us at check in that there was a special... More

We arrived and were shown to our room which was a decent size and was clean although the bathroom had an odd smell. That was basically where our interaction with staff ended, we did not see hardly anyone for the 3 days we were there, our room was not cleaned, our bins not emptied or anything. It is an easy... This is my second visit to Battambang. The first stay was for 6 months (NGO volunteer) and I rented a house. This stay was only 1 month, revisiting friends. Coconut House was an easy choice for this shorter term rental because my basic needs were catered for and the price quite reasonable. I had a kitchen and plenty of space... More

Clean and friendly and only 10mins to the river and centre of town.A great Cambodian BBQ place just around the corner...a word of advice when you step off the ferry most of the Tut Tut drivers have not herd of it and its not in the Lonley Planet guide book as of Dec...but well worth the effort of finding it.....

We spent two nights in this hotel, and paid $13 per night. The room was clean, airy and HUGE, although a bit bare. The beds were fairly comfortable; a lot better than the extremely hard beds many hotels in the area have. Bathroom was in working order, but needed a thorough cleaning and some insect nets. The room (not bathroom)... More

I have worked here for around 2 and 1/2 years and have done a fair share of traveling around the country. I used to live in Pursat and would venture North to BB about 1 time per month. This hotel is GREAT! It is a small family business and they pay attention to the details. The rooms are always very... More

A few weeks back before arriving in Battambang, I emailed this place and asked how much a room + kitchen was for the month since they have monthly rates. "Peter" replied a price of $200. When I arrived in town, I went to look at the place. The 2 employees were nice and friendly, but spoke minimal English. No problem.... More
