Spent 3 days here with my husband and parents. We were collected by Tuk tuk from the bus and taken free of charge to the guesthouse. We paid $21 for an AC room per night, which included use of the Delux Hotel pool, about 50 metres away. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, heavy dark wood furniture and plush curtains. Very... The rooms themselves are quite nice: solid wood furniture, spacious, very clean and (important this time of year) with air conditioning. They have tuk tuk driver that will pick you up at the bus station for free. The location is very convenient, just a block away from the main downtown area, but still quiet enough. But the pool in the... More

We got a great room here for $8. Everything is nice and clean and the wifi is good. I wasn't keen on the front desk staff though, they were a little bit rude. Just down the road is Tomato guesthouse where you can get a very good meal at a very reasonable price.

Nice and clean although room was small, pool was not included in the price which we were told after paying. Strange bathroom as it did not have a sink, we had to ask for the remote control for tv and the staff insisted looking round our room even though my partner was in bed and the remote was downstairs we... Rooms are fine, they are clean and big. However $12 for 1 room with fan there's a lot better value just around the corner. Some of the staff are extremely unfriendly and unhelpful!!!! They barely answered when you asked them a question and also gave you wrong information. 1 guy at reception was particularly rude. It was like he couldn't... More

Room was $10 for Fan room. Included: large bed for 2 people, mini fridge, WiFi (alot slower than the 3.5GB of internet data you can buy for 5$ for a month at a cellphone shop), electric water heater shower, western toilet, comp. Soap, toothbrush, two small waters, etc. Our bathroom bulb was out, I just swapped it with a room... More

A nice location and having a tuck tuck meet our boat was a nice touch. Rooms are big and linens nice. No trouble with the staff as reported by others. Bathrooms a bit grungy in our room. All in all a decent but not great place.

In the back-packer area close to food stalls and markets. Large airy room, hot shower, air con and the usual facilities. Wi-Fi was very slow and patchy, staff barely tolerating their guests. Would not like to have crossed them. All in all a good basic backpacker abode but a little pricey and the staff need lessons in charm.

The facilities were clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. What made it for me was the staff... They were very friendly, always willing to help and went out of their way to help us with any bookings and get us on the right bus. Love the quirky lobby. Thanks Lux!

Big rooms for 15 or 18 dollars a night. Clean linens and clean bathroom. Big windows on the higher floor offer decent view of the town. No problems with the room, other than that the lock for the door was not very secure. Service is lacking. Rotating cast of young men at the counter seemed incredibly disinterested. Not rude, but...
